Chapter 3

Bo's POV:

We all sit there absolutely dumbfounded. Kenzi is the first to speak.
"Doc what do you mean you think you killed the moriggan?"
"For months they forced me to go over their cases, they tortured me. Well one day I asked for some equipment, Like test tubes and a mocroscope." Lauren says pausing to collect herself.
"I broke one of the test tubes and hid a large shard of it up my sleeve, well when the person in black came in to collect my work, I stabbed them in the neck" she says beginning to cry.
"Lauren its okay you don't have to finish this if you don't want to" I say pulling her into my arms.
"Bo, when I pulled off their hood it was Eveny. I killed her" She finishes completely breaking down.
I pull her into me her tears soaking into my neck. I gently comb my fingers through her tousled blonde locks, using my powers to calm her slightly.
Dyson leans over and breaths into my ear "You know sometimes its good to let people work through their emotions".
"And what do you know about showing emotion" I bitterly spit back.
He just simply sits back on the couch and ponders what I just said.
"I will contact the dark in the morning but until then Bo take Lauren back to yours" Trick speaks up getting up and hustling about his lair.
I tug Lauren gently into my arms and go to lead her out.
"You coming Kenz?" I ask turning to my bestfriend.
"I think Im going to stay a little while" She says smiling at Hale.
"Okay just be safe" I say winking at her.
Lauren is lazily clingy to my side the whole way home.

Kenzi's POV:

Im on my fourth or fifth drink, and I am feeling free.
"Ha Hale guess your sireny powers won't stop me from totally kicking your ass in pool!" I scream victoriously dancing around him in circles.
Out if no where he reaches out and grabs me by the waste pulling me into him.
"Hale?" I start to question him but then his lips meet mine cutting me off.
Its like an explosion, fireworks dancing on my lips and in my brain. We kiss gently for a while until Hale pulls away.
"Why did you stop?" I whine slightly.
He leans in closely giving me a small kiss "Lil mama, I really like you" He pauses giving me a small smile,
"But I want to take things slow".
I smile at his cuteness.
"So Kenzi," he asks excitedly "will you let me take you on a date, say tomorrow at 8?"
"Yes!" I say animatedly giving him a kiss.

Dyson's POV:

I sit in my apartment with a bottle of beer contemplating what Bo said to me earlier.
"And what do you know about showing emotion"
I swear I have always said exactly how I felt about her.
Bo's beauty is incomparable.
Everything about her calls to me. They say wolves mate for life and I know in my heart that Bo is my mate for life.
Now only if I could find a way to make her see. Not while she is with Lauren. If I really love her (which I do) I should just want her to be happy. And I suppose she is happy with Lauren.

Bo's POV:

We are sat on the couch just simply staring at each other.
"So beautifull" I mutter not realizing I had said it aloud.
I watch Lauren's cheeks get rosy as she looks at the ground.
"You are one to talk Bo" she says shuffling closer to me on the couch.
I reach out and brush my thumb over her cheek watching as she relaxes into me touch. I slowly pull her closer to me, and gently touch my lips to hers.
"I love you Bo" She whispers against my lips.
I pull away so that she can look into my eyes, "Lauren, I love you so so much".
I pull her into me for a cuddle and I feel her lips on my neck.
"Lauren?" I pull away slightly shocked.
The look on her face is one I know too well. She gently runs her hand along my collar bones and slowly starts undoing the buttons of my blouse. I grab her hand stopping her and she tilts her head quizzically at me.
"Not here" I say standing up lacing my fingers through her and leading her upstairs.
I sit her down on the bed and straddle her waste. Her fingers rake through my hair as she reattached her lips to my neck.
"are you sure this is what you want" I say breathlessly.
She looks up at me with her big beautiful brown eyes "I want you".
"Im yours" I say grabbing a hold of us and quickly maneuvering us so that im laid on the bed and she is hovering over me. She unbuttons the rest of blouse puncuating each release of the button with a kiss. Freeing me of my bra she places a kiss in between my breasts and begins to work her way down my stomachache. She stops at the waist band of my pants and she takes off my pants and underwear in one fell swoop.
"Well now im feeling a little underdressed" I giggle reaching up to pull off her shirt.
"I..I" she stutters backing away slightly.
Her scars.. she doesnt want me to see.
"Lauren, do you trust me?" I ask.
"Yes of course" she says.
"Then trust me now" I say standing up and wrapping my arms around her.
She looks at me and nods her head.
I gently pull her top over her head and unhook her bra. I pull down Her bottoms so she can step out of them.
"Turn around" I whisper and she does as I say.
"Lay down on the bed on your stomach" I say, and she does.
I climb up on the bed with her straddling her back.
I begin to trace all her scars with my fingers and then I use my lips. I kiss ever inch of her scarred back.
"You are so beautiful Lauren, the most beautiful woman I have ever known" I say continuing to caress her back. She shifts underneath me so that she is laid on her back.
"You are my everything Bo" She says running her hands along my thighs.
"We can be everything Lauren" I say kissing her deeply.
"Marry me?" Lauren breathes.
We both sit up startled.
"Lauren? do you really mean that" I ask.
"Well.. Yes! yes i do really mean it!" She says excitedly hopping up and picking up her discarded jeans from the floor. She reaches into her pocket and pulls out a small but intricate engagement ring.
"I wasnt going to do it right away, but now I dont see the point in waiting" She says smiling.
I turn around and reach into my dresser droor also pulling out an engagement ring. We both stare at eachother completely dumbfounded.
"I was going to propose the day after you disappeared. Lauren I love you so much, you are everything I ever good have wanted in partner. You are kind and lovingg, smart and humorous. When you disappeared, a part of me left Lauren. You hold my heart in your hands and I can't imagine taking this step with anyone else.Lauren Lewis will you do me the honor in making my the happiest woman alive?" I ask tears leaking from my eyes.
"Yes Bo yes!" She screams flinging her arms around me. I slide the ring onto her finger and she slides the ring she got for me onto mine.
We embrace in a heated kiss, our tongues battling. The world seems to catch on fire as we make love into the late hours of the night. I dont feed off her. With Lauren sex is more than just feeding. its pure love and pure joy. By the time we blissfully go to dreamand the sun is coming through the windows illuminating our tangled bodies and sending rainbows glittering off of out rings.
