I looked up at the tall antique, grandfather clock in my room and saw it was 8.40am I've slept in! I ran down stairs, realizing that I forgot the apology so I ran back up stairs, panting softly, and grabbed the essential apology. Once I got to the dining hall I had notice that breakfast was already served.
" good morning mother and father would you like to hear my apology now or later?" I said.
" now would be fine, this better be good." my mother said.
" mother and father I am very sorry for disobeying your rules, I am also sorry for being so rude and destroying the bottom of my dress. Mother father I will never do this again without your approval. I am happy living here in the castle and never want to leave again. Do you forgive me?" I said with a pouty face.
My father looked at me, he raised his eyebrow, as a grin crept onto his face.
" of course we do" my father said.
Just then my mother scowled and finally nodded in agreement.
I grabbed a toast and quickly ran back up to my room to look for the necklace because I new I saw it before, someone use to wear it in my family.
After a while of searching I was just about to give up until I heard someone knocking on my door, so I went over to the door and unlocked it. I saw it was my mother.
" hello mother" I said.
" darling I want to give you something, because I think you really have proved yourself today, it used to be your great grandmothers." my mother said with a heart warming smile.
I looked a the gift, the pink stone with the engraved "P". My eyes widened with shock and excitement. It was the necklace the one I saw in my dream. " oh mother it beautiful, I love it." I said excitedly.
" your fathers grandmother Panayotia (pan-a-yo-ti-a), she said it had magical power to bring good luck and something else that she never mentioned, she loved to leave people guessing" she said.
" thank you so much" I said running up to my mother and hugged her.
My mother handed me the necklace, pulling out of my hug and walked out of the room.
I jumped up and down in excitement. I will get out at 12.00 and just tell my mother that I will be in the garden or the forrest, picking fruits and berries.
I had a shower and got dressed in the least expensive dress I owned. The dress flowed down to my ankles with cream colored materiel, the top had a dark blue corset and the sleeves are puffy but stopped at my lower shoulder. I quickly grabbed my shawl, a basket and the necklace.
I walked out to the court yard and told my mother I was going to the Forrest to pick some berries. I quickly walk to the plum tree. The door is now coved with vines, I ripped them apart and broke a nail in the process. I saw the lock, so I quickly grabbed the necklace around my neck and pressed it against the lock. The necklace glowed like in my dream them I grabbed the knob and turned it. The door opened by itself, I felt the warm sun against my face. I opened my eyes and saw the world around me, it was beautiful. I walked through the door and ran down the hill. I saw the village, it was so big, I knew that was the first place I wanted to go.
*******
After 15 minuets of walking I have finally reached the village. As I was walking down the main road I started seeing people, animals and shops. It was amazing, they even had a small school at the end of the street. With the little money I had I bought a loaf of bread.
I kept walking until I got to a field, that had very little grass. I saw boys my age, playing this sport called football. I sat down and ate my bread while watching the boys play this strange game.
