Stuck in the 90s

Bea

I wasn't sure what to do. What flower crown? White or blue flower crown? I decided the blue one and slipped my grey chuck Taylor's up my feet. Grabbing a grey and blue stripped flannel I put that on me and sighed. I was stuck in the 90s. Grabbing my bag I went downstairs. " morning sweetie!" My mom Laura said patting my hair.

"Not the crown mom!" I moaned.

" oops sorry hon." She said.

" how is Jess?" My mom asked. I bit my lip.

" um good. Real busy with cheer." I said shrugging like it was no big deal.

" You should do a sport Bea! Get more active!" I rolled my eyes and was silent.

" ooo maybe try out for the choir!"

" you kidding me? You know my voice."

" tennis?"

" what's tennis?"

"Volleyball?"

" my knuckleles were bleeding the last time."

" you need something!" My mom cried shaking her head.

"  fine. I'll find out at school." Good grief.

I walked out there fast. I wipped a tear away. Jess turned on me for months now- and I have no friends  now. I walked to the bus, slipped my Earbuds in, and listened to 5SOS.

" she sleeps alone, my heart wants to come home, I wish I was, wish I was, beside you." I sang quietly. I sang all the way there.
