You always liked being in the library, it was your safe place and a place you could come to to forget about the real world. Many simply called you a book worm but they will never understand that you live in two worlds of fiction and reality one which makes sense and the other is one you'd wish you could leave.

You took a deep breath tipping your head back and swiftly pushing your glasses back so they wouldn't fall. You looked at the beige spotted ceiling for the longest time, you could have stared at it forever  if someone hadn't called her name.

"Ms. (Surname)!" you looked back up at the excited Armin Arlert who held a world book copy 15.

"Hey Armin, let me check that right out for you." you said happily taking the book and running through the scanner.

"You were spacing out again." Armin said.

"Yeah well working at a high school isn't the easiest thing ever." You joked and Armin chuckled.

"Fair enough." he said as you handed him the book. "Thank you!"

"Now you have two weeks so return it in due time!" You said with a smile.

"Alright!" Armin turned to walk out but along with the squeak of the old library door whispers rippled through the room. Mostly girls giggling and acting flirtatious.

"I told you I didn't take it! It was Jean!" with those words the book alarm went off for a mere three seconds as the two males walked through the room.

"Eren!" Armin said a little worried to see him with their English teacher. Both of them stride over to you and you gulped.

"Ms. (surname)." the male said formally.

"Mr. Ackerman." You greeted equally.  Levi and you went way back, you used to go to school together and he was always the trouble maker but you were always in the library. There where only two reasons you even remembered him, because you called and idiot reckless bastard and he decided to break your glasses and because he beat you in Senior year in academics and he was the valedictorian that you were supposed to be.

"Give back the book." Levi said in his usual monotone expression.

"Here. I didn't take it! it was Jean!" Eren said angrily placing the book down and stomped out of the classroom -the bell following soon.

Levi turned his head and made a small 'tch.' sound before reaching forward and pulling your glasses off. "How many times do I have to tell you to take these off?"

"Hey!" you cried out reaching for your glasses. "Zero is plenty! Give them back! I can't see without them." Levi's head looked up and he raised the glasses up in the air mocking you, you growled angrily. Just because you were shorter then him didn't mean he was better then you. You leaned over the desk attempting to reach them. "Enough! You're a teacher so behave like it! Give them ba- Ah!"

Your chair which you had been leaning on suddenly rolled backwards pushing you forward and over the desk. Levi quickly dropped the glasses and before they had  chance to hit the ground he had caught you in his arms with his lower hand on your lower back and you slightly over the desk dangerously close to him. You but glanced down at each others lips and slowly got closer to each other until you heard a flustered cough. You both turned to see a student blushing madly.

"Madeline!" you said blushing and fumbling out of Levi's arms. Levi  sighed and unwrapped his arms letting you fall out of the desk.
