Stepping up to the eroding school gates, Suga kept his lifeless eyes to the floor; trying to make himself small and as unnoticed as possible he hunched his shoulders, wrapping his pale, thin arms around his body. Wincing at the sting of his recent cuts pressed against his body, the depressed boy stopped heading to the direction of his first lesson, deciding that it would be pointless on heading into class halfway through the session, he made his way towards the library, not bothering on lightly stepping to become unnoticed by any passing teachers. Suga seemed invisible anyway.

Noticing no-one else in the room, Suga made his way to the farthest corner of the room. Slumping down onto the floor, Kōshi crossed his legs. Rolling a sleeve up and pulling out a pen, Suga started to lightly trace small doodles on the outside of his arm; avoiding the inside, where his fresh (and older) scars lay.

Birds, lots of them. Small crows flying into the distance, is what the boys drawings consisted of. How amazing it would be to be a bird, being able to fly away at the first sign of danger; travelling the world, being free and happy. Suga desperately wished he was a bird, flying high and fast away from his troubles.

Hearing the ring of the obnoxiously loud bell, Sugawara heaved himself up. Picking up his tattered bag, Kōshi made his way to the next lesson. Finding a seat for himself near enough to the back, conveniently next to the window (the teacher wouldn't see him and pick on him) ; he slumped in his seat, with his arms folded on the table in front of him, Suga buried his head in his arms-trying to escape this reality.
