When my eyes open I realize what day it is. Monday. Monday's shouldn't exist. Especially not this Monday. Uhg. I better get up so I'm not late. Well if I'm late I could possibly avoid Kyle completly.
I just decide to go through with normal morning routine. I grab my phone and scroll through instagram. In my news I notice a new follower. Yay. Yay until I see who it is.
Kyle.
I decide to just get up and get dressed. Uhg. I'm hungry. I don't even think that we have any breakfast food.
When I open the refridgerator I was pleasantly suprised that there was actually some food.
I couldn't decide on what to wear. I went with a pink lacy sweater, a black tank top underneath, a black pleated skirt that came to my mid thigh, black panty hose, and my black and pink flowered boots.
I brushed my teeth and quickly did my make up. I didn't have time to straighten my hair so I just scrunched it and left it down.
I quickly glanced at the time on my phone and had to do a double take. 7:25. OMG I'm going to be late! I ran down stairs, grabbed my black leather bag and scrambled out the door. I was about three houses away from the bus stop. There were still kids there so I slowed down a bit. When I reached my group of friends I noticed my friend Dean was talking to someone I didn't recognise at first. At first being the key words. Like this isn't even funny. How and why is he just all of a suddun apart of my life. It's too much and too soon.
When I finally reached my friends I said "Hey guys" acting like I didn't even notice Kyle was there.
"Hey Christina! This is Kyle!" Dean said with no knowledge of the events of last Friday.
Dean seemed really excited to introduce Kyle. It's probably because he is the only guy in our group of friends. He's just happy to have another guy in the group.
"Yeah I know who he is." I coldly stated. Just as I spat out those words, the bus pulled up. Thank god. I quickly turned on my heels and speed walked to the bus with my head down.
When I got off the bus I realized that someone was yelling my name from behind. I turned around to see Lexi.
"What was that all about? Do you not like Kyle or something?" she asked with a confused look on her face.
"I don't know. I don't hate him....it's just...just....don't worry about it." I continued walking to my locker. I couldn't tell Lexi about Friday night. Yeah she's one of my best friends but some things aren't meant to be shared. And the events of Friday night fall under that catagory.
***********
On my way home from school I was deep in thought when I got the feeling I was being followed. I stopped and turned my head to see Kyle walking about ten pases behind me.
"God Kyle what do you want!?" I all but yelled.
"Well I kinda want to go home." he said with a smirk on his face.
"Well you should go there." I harshly stated.
With that he spead up so we were walking side by side.
"What are you doing?" I asked
"Going home."
"Don't you live the other way?"
"Nope. I moved into the house which I believe is right across the road from yours."
"Whatever, Kyle." He lightly laughed when I said that. Grrr. Is there no escaping him?.
I put my head phones in to try and ignore the fact that Kyle was still next to me. The song that started playing was Don't Forget by Demi Lavato. After a few minutes of walking I realized Kyle just said something. I quickly took my ear phones out.
"Sorry what was that?"
"I said you have a pretty singing voice." He laughing a little bit.
"Oh uh thanks." I said with a small smile creeping on to my face. WAS I BLUSHING!?!? Dang it. I'm blushing.
When we finally reached our houses we went our seperate ways after saying good bye. As I came up to the front door of my house I felt something strange. Something making me hesitate on putting the key into the lock on the door.
