I raised my hand as the chair also lifted on the group following the motion of my hand. I move it slightly to the right and the chair mimics me. We aren't very sure how the gifts started but once I put on the necklace all those years ago. I blacked out. I woke up again in a ditch as my parent drove off. I had somehow gotten out of the vehicle with neither of them noticing until I started screaming. Which it seemed like a force made them stop.

To put it lightly, they were terrified of me. My mom immediately looked at my father with fear. Now they some how seemed to have forgotten about the incident and I learned how to control these powers.

Monday rolls around quickly as I prepare for school. I must have type of aura that attracts some of the boys at the school. As I walk down the hall all of the kids converse as my best friend, Mira, talks about her latest addiction.

"Ladies would you mind posing for a picture for the yearbook?"

I glance over at the scrawny girl whose name seems to have left my mind. I shake my head no as she walks away. "Why would you do that? I enjoy seeing how many times I can get in the year book." Mira said with a hint of an attitude. Her hair was crazy curls as her dark toned skinned contrasted my fair skin. We were complete opposites but that is why our friendship is so strong.

Mira looked off and smiled. I looked in confusion as to why but the camera flash answered my question as I threw my hands up to cover my face. "Rowan, I hope you aren't offended if I crop you out of this picture. Mira looks pretty good." said the camera girl as she smacks her gum.

Mira frantically talks to the poor girl and discusses things such as which angle would be better for the next time. I mumble under my breath realizing we have limited time before the bell rings. I wave Mira off before I go to class.

Everybody in our school feels as if they are entitled to everything. No matter how little. Some of the girls won't you a water fountain if it's near the freshman hallway. It's pretty pitiful to watch them go out of their ways just to make sure they don't contaminate their water with freshman vibes.

I walked into class and immediately zoned out, the teacher at the front of the class room passionately lectured the class about the history of our town. I sit and attempt to listen before the trees catch my attention. I begin trying to analyze my disappearance yesterday at dinner when I notice a figure. I blink repeatedly once I see a figure standing outside the woods.

The figure was wearing dark attire and created an aching feeling in my stomach. I went down to rub the necklace given to me all those years ago, realizing I didn't put it on. I even looked down and muttered a cuss word before I decided to attempt to listen.

"Now once the burning was over, the town believed that they were rid of all of the evil! Which leads us to the history of the Salem witch trials." The teacher says smiling brightly. Her red lipstick standing out due to the fair skin and dark hair. She claps her hands together as she starts writing things on the board.

I glance at the students who are either interested in what she was saying or asleep. The teacher's body blocks what she is writing as I grab a pen knowing that somehow this will more than likely be on the test coming up. She moves and her eyes meet mine. My eyes widen.

H e i s c o m i n g f o r w h a t i s h i s. H a l l o w e e n i s w h e n     h e w i l l b e h e r e.

I started hyperventilating as the whole class's eyes move back to me. One by one, heads turn slowly and meet my eyes. I glanced at all of them noticing their eyes filling with black as the whites of all their eyes disappeared. I glance over to my right only to see another face in front of mine mine. I scream as I see a man with dark hair, blue eyes, and his eyes trained on me like I was food.

That look was definitely terrifying. I get up knocking over my chair and try to run to the door. The mysterious man is right behind me before fear takes over and I fall. I immediately begin to cry " Ms. Rowan?! Are you alright?" The teacher started shaking me, she looked to be in fear of what happened. I looked at her in the eyes trying to reassure myself that it was just a hallucination.

As I turn to look at the students I feel my vision start to fade. I felt an arm grab me and pull me up as I nod my head. "I'll take her to the nurses office." I hear a voice mumble. The teacher responds my nodding very slowly.

As we are walking down the hall, I look to my right seeing a cute looking boy dragging me along. He side eyes me as he looks at me in confusion before carrying on the path to the nurses office.

His beauty consisting of blonde hair and blue eyeswas definitely a good gene to own. He takes me to the nurse and then makes up some B.S story that explains my weird actions. All while I sit on the side watching this attractive guy help me more than he will ever realize.

I look around the room having the oddest feeling of being watched. I look back at cute, blonde kid only to find him staring at me with a fascination and his head being tilted like a pup.

" So Rowan as of right now-" The nurse said.

I looked back at the cute kid who was sporting the same blush I was as we both half smiled. Totally ignoring the nurse saying she will be calling my parents because of this incident.
