Raphael's POV-
I walked up to dad, slowly. My mouth is open in awe.
"Son, I want you to have my Stygian sword," dad tells me.
I take his sword, a little shocked. Its hilt fits perfectly in my hand. "But-but this is your sword. You told me that I could never touch it," I said.
"I want you to have it now."
I walk back over to Mom and the other kids choose different weapons. Carmen got a bone sword, a dagger, and a bracelet that if you hit a button it turns into a shield . After she got her weapons, she stood near me. "How are you doing?" I ask her.
"I am fine," she says awkwardly.
Emma got a bow and arrow. Hunter walks over to me, supporting his dragon-hilted sword.
"That's pretty awesome that you got Nico's sword," he says in awe.
"It is. I never would have thought that he would give me his sword," I say.
"Yeah. At least you got something from your parents," Hunter mutters. I watch as Sebastian gets a spear and shield. The spear tip has imperial gold inlaid on it. Natasha gets nothing, because she says she wants to get hands on fighting.
"OK, children. You all can go to the pavilion now. The two younger children cannot get weapons. Maybe Orion soon, but not Diana," Chiron tells the adults.
We start walking towards the pavilion. Carmen falls into step next to me. "Hey," she says.
"Hi," I say.
"Guys, are you talking about me?" I hear Hunter say.
"Why would we talk about you?" I ask him as he walks right next to me.
"Oh I don't know. Because of me being handsome?" he says.
"Maybe, maybe not," Carmen says, smirking as we arrive at the pavilion.
