A Vow of Friendship

I looked seeing my hair being thrown to the ground. He then placed the blade to my face. "You know your starting to piss me off" he said, as I closed my eyes. He growled and threw me to the ground. I then closed my eyes in pain feeling him kicking my stomach. Then he punched my face. It was soon hours when he stopped and his cell phone rang. He tisked his head answering it. "What?" he said, as he paused and then closed his eyes. "Yeah fine" he said hanging up. "We'll be back" he said, as the whole room was now dark. I closed my eyes having tears crawl down. I knew I was going to die here, but I at least wanted to see Hidan again... even arguing with him felt like bliss... even if he didn't like me... even if I was a brat to him, I would still just want to be friends. I don't care about being seen as his lover. I then stopped when I saw a light coming from the door and a dark figure standing at the door frame. "You fucking love making me come get you don't you?" said the voice, as my eyes widened and soon the whole room lit up. I looked around seeing I was in a basement. I looked at Hidan seeing him sweating and his shirt and pants torn. He walked towards me and ungagged me. "Maybe I should keep you like this" he said smirking. Tears crawled down my face and I leaned against Hidan putting my face into his chest. "O-Oi" he said, as he stopped hearing me whimper. He put his hands on my shoulders and I winced in pain. He stopped and looked at his hands. His eyes then widened looking at me. "Jamie your-" he was about to say, as I looked at him with a pained expression. "HIDAN" shouted a voice, as we turned our heads and I paused seeing Professor Kakuzu. "Let's get out of here and say statements later" said Kakuzu, as Hidan growled and carried me bridal style. I winced in pain again, but Hidan didn't pay any mind and carried me out of the building.

Soon I was placed on the couch of Kakuzu's apartment. Kakuzu looked at me and I was wincing every time he tried to look at me injuries. "She has to go to the hospital" he said, as my eyes widened and I grabbed Professor Kakuzu's shirt. "No please, anything but that" I said, as he stopped and looked at me shocked. "Jamie" he said, as I shook my head. "Please" I begged, as he sighed closing his eyes. Kakuzu lifted me up and I closed my eyes in pain. He brought me to my room and laid me on the bed. I watched as he placed a blanket over me. "Get some rest" he said, as I watched him walk out the door and closed it. I closed my eyes and nuzzled my head on the soft pillow. But I couldn't sleep... I knew I was safe... but my heart and body was in pain.

Once morning came I sat up wincing and then walked out the door slowly. I walked in the kitchen and groaned in pain when my hand wrapped around the fridge door. "What the fuck do you think your doing?" said a voice, as I looked seeing Hidan glaring at me. "I... well" I tried to think of something, but I couldn't. Hidan growled and walked towards me. He forced my hand off the handle and I winced. He picked me up bridal style and I winced again. I lowered my eyes feeling his warm body against my trembling one. "Idiot if your hungry say something, your in no fucking condition to walk" he said, as I smiled sadly. "I'm sorry" I said, as he sighed. "Forget about it" he said, as I closed my eyes. "I'm sorry I forced you to be my bodyguard" I said, as he stopped and looked down at me. "Once I get better you don't have to do it anymore" I said, as I paused when I felt a warm hand on my cheek. It slowly tilted my chin and made me look at Hidan. I paused seeing him looking at me seriously. "Idiot you didn't force anything I need the money so stop apologizing" he said, as I lowered my head. "Yeah... okay" I said, as he walked me back to my room and laid me on the bed gently. "What do you want to eat?" he asked, as I stopped and looked at him. "You mean you'll make it for me" I said looking at him shocked. "Fuck no, Kakuzu will" he said growling, as I nodded lowering my head. "Anything is fine" I said holding onto my arms. I then paused as Hidan softly placed his hands on my shoulders. "They really cut off most of your hair didn't they?" he asked, as I paused and looked at him. "Do you not like girls with short hair?" I asked, as he stopped and looked at me. "If they have the right body than I don't care" he said getting up. I lowered my head and slowly touched my hair. "Jamie" said Hidan, as I stopped and my eyes widened. I looked at him seeing him looking at me seriously. "Don't get too attached to me alright... its less painful for everyone if you do" he said walking out the door. I closed my eyes and then paused at his words. For Everyone? Who is everyone?

A few days went by and I was soon wrapped in bandages and well enough to leave my room but not the house yet. I was walking around and saw Professor Kakuzu looking at papers reading in the kitchen. "Morning" I said, as he stopped and looked at me. "Good your finally walking" he said, as I nodded. "I have tons of homework for you to do, but I'm sure you'll be able to be done by lunch" he said, as I smiled when he handed them to me. He gave me a pen and I paused looking around. "He went to a strip club" said Kakuzu knowing who exactly I was looking for. I smiled sadly and walked into the living room. I sat on the couch and finished my homework. Once finished I took out my cell phone. And immediately I got tons of text messages and then I paused when my phone rang for a call. "Hello?" I questioned "WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN?" shouted Alexis, as I smiled nervously and then closed my eyes. "Long story, but I'm okay now" I said, as she sighed. "Well I want to go to the movies... wanna come?" she asked, as I paused. "The movies huh? That sounds good what time and which theatre?" I asked "At six and at the second duplex" she said, as I smiled. "Great be there soon" I said hanging up my cell and then paused when a shadow came over me. "I don't think so" said Kakuzu, as I looked at him. "Oh come on please" I said, as he sighed holding his head. "Fine, but since Hidan isn't here to be your bodyguard I'll have Deidara and Itachi do it" he said, as my eyes widened. "EHH" I shouted, as he glared down at me and I gloomed.

I growled walking down the street towards the second duplex. "Why the fuck do we have to do this? Un" said Deidara, as Professor Uchiha narrowed his eyes at him. "Cause if we don't not only will Kakuzu have our heads so will the leader" said Professor Uchiha, as Deidara growled turning his head. I sighed closing my eyes and then smile seeing Alexis waving towards me. I ran and hugged her. "It's been forever" she said, as I nodded. She then paused and looked behind me. "Jamie why is Professor Uchiha and a guy with blonde hair following you?" she asked, as I sighed. "It's complicated but basically they're my bodyguards for the rest of the evening" I said, as she paused. "What happened to Hidan?" asked Alexis, as I sighed and whispered into her ear. She then sweat dropped and gloomed. "Gross" she whispered, as I nodded my head while closing my eyes.
