My name is Alex Quill. You may think I'm lying when I tell you this, but I'm actually the daughter of Starlord. Yeah, I know. How did I get to be his daughter? I'll explain later. But for now, let me talk about my life here, in Nowhere. I work at a place called The Weaponry, where I build weapons.

I'm building another special gun, while others are having a big party and getting drunk. Today, I'm working gun- maybe a gun that I could use in the future. This gun shoots out balls of electricity and fire. Of course, all you have to do to refill it is to use a loader I created that catches light and uses it to release those balls of electricity and fire. I'm a genius! I finish it, after putting the special metal plates on it. I take off my metal mask, and move the tools out of the way. I hold the gun, staring at it with shock. I smile, and begin to laugh.

"I did it! Yes!" I exclaim.

My boss, Poisonous Possum, comes in. He's kind of like Rocket Raccoon, but the difference is that he's never been arrested, and he isn't crazy like Rocket is. He has the awkward ability to posion people whenever he bites them. So, I always call him Poison or PP. He walks to me in the same white t-shirt, and blue jeans. He reminds me a lot of one of my toys coming to life.

"You finished the Sun Gun?" PP asks, standing beside me.

I knell down for him to see it closely. He touches the plates on the gun.

"Yeah. I just have to test it." I answer.

"Where are you going to test it? Can't do it here, because parties are going on tonight, Alex." He says.

"I know. I guess I can try in Xander, right?"

"Oh no! I'm not going to Xander!"

     "Poison, please!"

"Alex! If you want to get there, get there by yourself! Okay?"

I sigh and shake my head while he walks up the stairs to his room.

     "Yes Poison." I exhale.

"Good. Take a break. Go out and have some fun."

"I'm not going out there and getting drunk."

"Well do something else then. See you tomorrow."

He locks himself in his room above the working area. I grab my leather jacket, put on my metal gloves, and bring my backpack with the Sun Gun, and leave the place. I don't do much after work. Usually, I just go back to another unknown to place to sleep in, or I just sleep outside. I don't have a home or anyone to watch me. PP won't watch me, because he just cares about me getting work done. I walk through another crowd of people going to the parties. But in the crowd, I see someone who reminds me of Ronan. He's a muscular boy who looks like he's 15. He's bald, has piercing and uninviting purple eyes, and has black paint on half of his face. He's completely wearing black clothes like Ronan. When he notices me, his purple eyes glow. I hide behind people in the crowd so he won't notice me. But once I look over one's shoulder to see if he's there, I see him holding a completely black staff at me, which releases black smoke. I run by the people, trying not to be hurt by him. But as I run by him, I accidentally kick something- or someone.

     "Ow!" Someone yells.

I scream, hearing his voice. I look down. It's Rocket Raccoon! The guy that works with Dad! Oh- the thing that works with Dad.

     "Sorry!" I exclaim.

I run through the crowd, still, while he jumps on my leg.

     "Hey! Get off!" I shout.

     "No!"

He crawls on my chest, staring in my eyes.

"What did you do that for?" He asks.

I pull him off of me by the back, holding him in my face.

"Listen to me. You need to leave me alone! I'm kind of in deep trouble right now!" I exclaim.

     "Like what?"

The smoke gets around Rocket and I. It causes me to faint.
