Now I'm back in the room where dad's friends were talking to me. I'm alone, lying on the row of seats, fiddling with a ring I've been keeping for a while. PP gave me the ring when I asked him about my mom. In response, he gave me the ring, and told me that the ring was a reminder of my mom. In reality, it just reminded me of how PP didn't want me to talk about my mom. This ring has a black diamond in it and it reminds me a lot of Rocket now, for some reason...
"Are you going home yet?!" Rocket shouts.
I scream, staring at him.
"Rocket! Stop!"
"What? Just asking."
I roll my eyes, lying back again.
"You're so annoying."
"Not like you. Least I'm not over dramatic like you."
"Please. I don't shout like you."
We're interrupted by Dad making an order.
"Hey... Guys! We got something coming for us!"
"Like what?" Rocket asks.
I get up, placing the ring in my backpack (it's by the chairs). I put it on my back, following Rocket to the room where dad is. Someone attacks me. It's Flora! Somehow, she knocks me off of my feet and into a wall, scratching my face with her claws. I'm screaming as I'm trying to fight her back.
"Get off of me!" I shriek.
"No! You owe me!"
"ROCKET! HELP!"
"Ah, ah... You didn't say the magic word."
"PLEASE!!!"
"Okay..."
He sticks his claws in Flora's hips like a cat, later kicking her in her private area. She stops attacking me, looking at Rocket in the face. I get up, pulling out my Sun Gun from my back, shooting her once with an electric bolt. She twitches and shrieks, falling on the ground.
"Right! Let's go!" I exclaim as the blood from the cuts flows down my face.
"Um... Thank you?"
"Oh yeah! Thank you!"
I can't really focus right now because Flora just made my face feel like chopped meat. But, I catch Rocket jumping and climbing up my backpack, pulling out his weapon, looking around. I look in the control room of the ship to see dad trapped in his chair with blue men pointing guns against his head. He looks like he was beaten by 10 men or more. Gamora is lying on the floor, passed out with Drax, and Groot is nowhere to be found. Oh no... He probably ended up like last time...
"Dad!" I exclaim.
"Quill!" Rocket exclaims.
"Drop your weapons." One of the men orders.
"No. I'm not doing anything until you let my dad go."
"Alex, we can't do that!" Rocket exclaims.
I strike the man with electric bolts, quickly turning around and firing another volt at the other man. Thank God Dad doesn't get hurt. He actually wakes up, looking around.
"Huh?" He yawns. "What happened?"
I shake my head and roll my eyes.
"Really?"
Great. I'll have to explain this, and I have to find Flora. Fantastic.
