The doughnuts tasted like heaven. We sat in silence for a while whilst we ate or doughnuts, hands no longer joined. It was getting late.
'I should probably head home now. It getting late.' I said, glancing at my phone anxiously. It was 7:12 and my ancient grandma would be worrying - actually she probably wouldn't care. She's so brain-washed she won't even notice I'm gone. She'll assume I'm asleep or doing homework. She won't bother me.

'Oh...'  A glimmer of disappointment flickered in his voice as he looked away. 'Bye. I'll see you soon? This is my number,' he says, handing me a piece of paper. 'Thanks!' I say a little too excitedly. 'Can I at least walk you home?' He asks nervously. The more time with him the better! I agree as we troop out of the mall into the winter breeze. Snow is falling around me and I feel cold. Shivering, I smile at Josh, but my teeth are chattering. 'Here.' He hands me his soft jacket, which smells of roses and tulips. Our hands meet once again as we drag out feet slowly to my house. 'Do you wanna pop into the park before you go home?' He asks, stuttering. 'Sure!' I say as pure white snow gently falls around us. As we go through the gate my heart races as we walk over to the trees. I feel enchanted.
He looks so handsome in his sweatshirt.

'Hold still!' He yelps at me. He brings out his phone camera and snaps a picture of me below the tree. Guessing he was into photography, I asked 'so you like pictures?'

'No,' he states 'I like you...'

My heart races. 'I-I like you too...'

He pulls me closer. I can feel his warm breath against my cheek, the icy air running against his warm breath. He pauses for a moment, his shaggy hair getting in the way of his eyes. I bring him closer, and as our lips meet I can feel his hand on my cheek. I don't care about anything else in the world right now but him. His lips taste of honey as our kiss gets more intense as he reaches down for my thigh. I gasp for air.
'Great kiss,' I stupidly say.
'Great kisser' he says smugly.
He brings me into his arms, holding me close. We met about 2 hours ago but I think I'm falling in love. It seems crazy. But it isn't. I know that I am meant for him and he is meant for me. He pushes me up against a tree as we kiss some more, his hands on my hips and my hands on his cheeks.

We break away and he says...

'Millie O'brien. From the 2 hours and... (He glances at his watch).... 25 minutes I have known you, you have told me your life story. My life is complicated. It isn't easy like yours. And for the first ever time...

I think I love somebody...
And that somebody is you.
