The New Regalia- Yukine X Reader.

「1」Sora

It's was a normal day in Japan. Yato and Yukine were walking around aimlessly just hoping for his phone to ring so they could do another job. Yato sighed and glanced over at Yukine, who had seemed to be acting odd today.

"Yukine," Yato spoke suddenly, causing the young boy to jump from his daze. "Are you alright?" Yato looked at the orange eyed boy he had marked as his regalia with worried eyes.

"Y-yeah...I'm fine." Yukine tried to push the topic away like it was nothing.

"Are you sure?" Yato asked, only seeming more concerned.

"Yeah I'm fine." Yukine said.

But he couldn't help but lie. It felt like something was bothering him and something was. He heard screaming, it was faint but loud enough for hear.

"Yato! Yukine!" The screams echoed.

Yato and Yukine both jerked the direction of the screams.

"H-Hiyori!" They said in unison.

Hiyori was out of her body again. She looked kind of mad. She stopped right in front of the two males and started panting.

"What's wrong?" Yato said.

"I keep slipping out!" She said irritated.

"Isn't that normal by now?" Yukine said, rolling his eyes.

"Yes, but it's been happening so much lately. Like every hour I slip out!" She complained. "Yato! You need to fix me as soon as possible, at this rate, I'll never be able to go to college or move on with my life if I keep slipping out of my body!" She said.

Yukine's heart dropped at the thought of Hiyori leaving them. Yato must've been stung a little because he slapped Yukine on the back lightly as if saying "don't worry, it'll be fine".

"Yeah, yeah. I'll get you fixed soon. But right now, why don't we go look for jobs, right Yukine?" Yato said, looking at Yukine. "Huh? O-oh. Yeah." He stuttered as he responsed.

Hiyori sighed. "I guess I'll help you out. My friends brought me back home anyway." She said.

Yato cheered and they went around the whole city to look for jobs. They did one or two cleaning jobs and Yato was feeling rich. Even though they only got 10 yen. They started to make their way back home.

"Ah! That was fun. Hey Hiyori, wanna come wit-" Yato was cut off by a blood curling scream.

"Yato." Yukine said panicked.

"I know. Let's go. Hiyori stay here!" Yato said and he summoned "Sekki" and they ran towards the scream. There was no one there, but just a tiny yellow ball. Yato picked it up. "Revert Sekki!" He chanted.

Yukine reverted and he stared at the yellow ball.

"Is that..?" He asked. Yato smiled.

"It's another one. Yukine, you won't be so lonely anymore. You with nowhere to go and nowhere to hide, I grant you a place to belong. I name you Sojna! As human form I name you Sora." He chanted.

A small, fragile girl appeared with long black hair and a kimono too big for her. She was crying and holding her own shoulders. She looked up at Yukine and had eyes like Yato's. A beautiful bright blue, almost like the sky.

Yato came up to her and smiled. "Welcome to the family." He said.
