Off To Go

[one hour before Sungyeol visit]
I was staying in my room, watching a movies. When I saw a person came out of nowhere from the window.

I was shocked that I literally fall off the bed.

"Your highness" he said.

I stand up to my feet.
I immediately recognized him. He was the one that was following Sungyeol and me back when I visit Sungyeol place.

He was chasing after me and Sungyeol. I start throwing stuff at him but he told me to calm down and don't panic.

After a moments. I calm down and ask

"What do you want?"

"I, name Jung Jongshi, want you to make a decision, after hearing what I'm about to says" he said.

I nod for him to continue.

"Lee Sungyeol a Queen genie, can grant 7 wishes of any wish. Was born with the princess, he would do anything just to protect the queen or princess. Do you know that he will die after you make your the 7 wish?" He says.

My face went from calm to terrified, and my face went pale. It felt like the words will always stick to my head now. Like I have to be careful about my actions now.

He probably read my expression too, now his voice grew louder than before. Like he have convinced me.

Jongshi continues.

"I'm here to take you with me, please join me, that useless genie won't last long. He won't be able to protect you forever, he will eventually died"

"He won't be much of a help if the country is in bad shape, yes he made have a special gifts, but that gifts was only to serve the royal. His life is shorter than an insect"

"Stop,........STOP just stop" I scream out.

I can't let him brainwash me. I'm sure that Sungyeol won't die after I made the last wish. He have to live. He couldn't, he lying to me.

After my scream there seem to be a smile on Jongshi face. Which I thought was really disgusting.

" please leave" I ask him and lowering my face to cover up my eyes from becoming watery.

"Please make your decision now " he ask.

"Please give me time" I said almost a whisper.

"Thank you our highness, I'll give you 2 weeks to make your decision" Jongshi says and leave my room.

Here I am, making useless wish. And now that I know that Sungyeol going to die because of me makes my heart hurt.
Can it really be my faults if he died?

A few moment later, Sungyeol came and explained me about everything.

If I'm going to save his life. This is the time. I have to end everything quick and fast.

After a few moments Sungyeol came and I made my wish.

-The Next Day-
I kept staring at him in disbelief.

"WHAT!!!! What do you mean I have to leave my family!!!!!!!" I ask in panic and shocked.

"Yah. Calm down" Sungyeol says.

"I can't" I said. Feeling suffocate.

"It just for a few weeks maybe months" he said. "Your country really needed a throne"

My jaw was still hanging low.

Just then Sungyeol came and close my mouth.

"Uhh, thanks" I said.

"So I want you to packed your things and be ready, we're leaving after the mid-year exams" he says.

And that shocked me even more. I got a feeling there are more surprises coming towards me like popping popcorn.

-A couple days later-
I got better and went back to school as usual. It was almost the day for the mid year exams.

And Mr. Oh is really pushing us to work harder with our studying.

-Lunch-

"Arg, this is so tiring" Mi Jung says while stuffing her face with food.

"It will be alright as long as you study"
Nari says.

"Sure, for you, you're always at the top" Mi Jung says to Nari.

I was quietly eating. There so many going on and only 13 more days left. Before I have to make a decision to Jung Jongshi.

"Yah, you alright?" Mi Jung ask.

I flinch.

"Oh, Gayoung, you're awfully quiet today" Nari said.

"I'm alright" I says back with a smile assuring them.

Sungyeol was quietly eating while staring at me.

Does he really has to do that?

-The Day Of Exam-
"You all have an hour" Mr. Oh says. And passed out the tests.

After we finished our test, we all passed it to the front and it was collected.

"That will be all for today class" Teacher Oh said before leaving the class.

I was just laying my head down. Thinking it my last day here.

"Yah, Gayounnie?" I heard Nari voice.

"Ne" I said, still laying my head down.

"You're really acting strange today." Nari ask me.

I lift my head up and stared at her. Feel like I'm going to cry.

"I'm fine" I said to her.

-AFTERSCHOOL-
I was walking down streets with both of my bestie. And Sungyeol following behind from a distance.

"Hey" I said to them.

"Ne" they both ask. Probably glad that I'm talking to them.

"Can you both came to my house" I ask them.

They nodded.

When reached my home, Sungyeol stay outside, and I lead my friends inside. And went up to my room.

"So what going on?" Mi Jung ask. Sounding like she doesn't have any patient left.

I cleared my throat.

"I..... Um..... Actually I'm......." I wanted to reveal everything, but the words isn't coming out.

"Yes" they both ask. Trying to be patient.

"I'm going on a trip" I said to them.

"Really!? Where?" Mi Jung ask excitedly.

"To New Jersey" I lied. I have no idea where I'm heading to.

"So this is what was bothering you all week?" Nari ask.

I nodded.

"We'll miss you, a lot, and when I mean a lot it a lot" Mi Jung says. And came gave me a hug and then Nari join too. A group hug.

-An hour pass-
They left, and that when I start getting myself ready because it going to be a difficult trip.
