"Kylie I have been meaning to tell you something *sigh* I got my powers on Sunday I can control water" I say. I smile to make things less awkward. Suddenly her smile disappears and she is completely serious. I feel very bad for not telling Kylie earlier.
Kylie began to pick up her things piling them one on top of the other then she organized them. She put them between her arm and her chest in a position to take it away and leave. I felt guiltier and guiltier by each second. She was at the door I felt my lips quivering and a tear run down my face. Right after she twisted the door knob she opened the door a crack she said "You could've told me earlier I know I shouldn't make you feel bad but You are my Best Friend and you should have told me before". As Kylie said that and left I felt my face getting wet and tears pouring out.
Kylie's POV:
I know that I should've supported her for getting her powers but she kept it a secret ,sorta, and its Wednesday. She could have told me on Monday but nooooooooooo she kept it to herself.
I slowly walk down her stairs regretting every step that I take. I make my way to her door and step out. I run to my house and throw myself onto my bed to cry. I slowly whisper to myself between my sobs "Why. Why. You should have supported her. Kylie you dumb girl. I-I...." I take a deep breath in and wipe the tears of my face and clean my face in my bathroom that I have in my room. I hear a knock on my door and dry my face off. I walk to my door. I know it's you Hilary I think to myself. I grab the doorknob and hold it for what it seemed like forever. I open the door and I see Hilary just walking away she turns around and I remember my face is all puffy and red. She runs to me hugs me and begins to cry.
Hilary's POV:
I knock on the door and a minute and two pass. I suddenly regret coming. I sigh and turn around to leave to my house. At that precise moment Kylie opens the door. I see her face all puffy and swollen and her eyes red. I hug her and say between these uncontrollable sobs ''I'm so sorry". She hugs me back and suddenly we look like two sad crazed maniacs crying in the doorway.
