-Carter's POV-
"UH OH!" I said worried
"How are we gonna get out?" I said
"Don't worry Carter." Ciara said
"I have a idea!" Ciara said
"Move that desk over so we can climb up to the vent!" Ciara said
"No are you crazy!" I said and she was a little crazy but also smart.
"Fine,everybody grab a end." I said. Then we moved the desk over.
"Now what?" I said
"Try to reach the vent. "
"I... Got it!" I said
Then I climbed up to the vent and crawled half way through and said "Now,what?"
And Ciara said "Climb up to the vent in the bathroom and go get help from someone."
-Ciara's POV-
When we were waiting in the basement the clone was destroying stuff. Then he went upstairs and that gave us time to have me crawl out the vent because he wouldn't hear me.
"OK,you have to be very quiet Ciara." My mom said
"I know." I said quietly
Then,I reached up to the vent and Carter heard me so he came back and pulled me up and said " Come on let's go to Ms.Martinez's house and she'll help us."
And I said "Well,if we're going to then let's get going. And you have to lead the way because this is your neighborhood."
And he led me though the vents up to the bathroom. Then when we came up Carter went first and he helped me up like a gentleman.
Then he said " Come on she lives right across the street."
Then when we opened the door the clone heard us and came running down the stairs but we made it to Ms.Martinez's house.
-Carter's POV-
When we came to Ms.Martinez's house we both pounded on the door and screamed "HELP! MR.MARTINEZ!" And then she came running to the door and opened it and said "Hi Carter! What do you guys need?" And I said "There is someone at my house that broke in and destroying stuff!" And then she brought us inside and Ben which is my best friend and Mr.Martinez's nefew came out and said "Carter man! Let's go play!" And I said "Sorry Ben but I have this problem and friend here." And he said "She can play with my sister Aubri." And then he screamed "AUBRI! GET DOWN HERE!!!!" And then she ran down the stairs and said "WHAT DO YOU WANT NOW!!!!"
And Ben said "THIS GIRL WANTS TO PLAY WITH YOU!!!" Then she said "Oh. Hi!" And then Ms.Martinez came out to the living room where we were and grabbed her coat and said "Kids don't leave this house. Ben and Aubri's mom is coming to pick you guys up." And Ben said "Yay! Now me and Cart-dog can hang out for a long time!!!" And I said "Yay." Kind of disappointed. Then, Mr.Martinez left.
