STILL KAYLAS POV

I lock eyes with my EX boyfriend.

I hated every ounce of him.

Whenever someone just says his name my blood begins to boil.

He acts like the breakup was all my fault. I wouldn't expect him to remember it anyways.

He was drunk when it happened.

Long story short we've been dating for about a year or two and the last 6 months of the relationship he began getting very distant. I would ask him why and he would get violent. To sum it all up, he cheated on me about five times (that I know of) and I gave him way too many second chances. He was NOT the same person he was the first day I met him.

A small gasp escapes my mouth. I back up slightly not losing eye contact. He stands there with a smug look on his face.

"What do you want Jared, why are you even here?"

"I came to pay a little visit to my dearest old friend." He smirks and it makes me want to slap that disgusting pair of lips off his face. "Don't you miss me kayla? We could've had it all but you had to ruin it."

"I ruined it?" I laugh, "I. ruined it?"

"That's why I had to find someone else because you weren't enough for me." Once those words came out of his mouth... That's it. He just nailed his coffin.

I start to raise my voice a little, "WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME? YOU'VE ALREADY DONE ENOUGH! LEAVE!" I start to feel tears forming in my eyes. 

My aunt comes around the corner in a panic. "Kayla what's wrong! Why are you yel- oh it's you.." She looks him up and down. "What do you want from my niece."

"Excuse me ma'am. I don't know what you mean. I just came her to get a croissant." He smirks again.

I growl. "BULL SH-"

"OKAY Kayla no need for that. Let me handle this. Please leave the store or I'll have to call the cops. We can always get a little something called a restraining order."

And with that he smiles and leaves. Huh didn't think it would be that easy.

Grayson's POV

I'm in the bathroom and all of a sudden I hear screaming outside. I rush out and see two people arguing and Ethan is looking pissed. Like he's about to jump this guy. I see a girl on the other side of the counter screaming At this guy. Wait is that... Kayla?! I walk up to Ethan,

"Bro is that..?"

"Yep." He says.

The guy finally leaves and Ethan goes up to the register. When the manager isn't looking she gives the guy the fingers behind his back. I let out a chuckle. She turns around with a smile and then

she freezes.
