KAYLAS POV

All the boys finally came out. After my moment with the first born twin they started asking questions to the audience.

"Hey who out there can sing?!" Cameron asks the crowd. "Who would be willing to come up?"

A wave of screams came over the venue. Most Of these people can't even sing but they'll do anything to go up and meet their idols.

I've been told I can sing and I sing on my channel but I can't really sing in front of enormous crowds. Like in person.

Recipe for a disaster.

So I decide not to go insane and jump around and volunteer myself for tribute.

HAYES POV

"Hey who out there can sing? Who would want to come up?" Cameron says.

Of course everyone goes insane.

"Hayes why don't you pick someone to come up?" He tells me.

Oh god. Here we go.
'Okay so most of these people probably can't sing. Umm oooo where's Kayla at again. She can sing really well.' I think to myself and look at the direction that I remember Kayla being in.

'Perfect Hayes. All you have to do is bring her up here and then invite her to a VIP meet and greet so I can get to know her a bit better. without Ethan...'

"Wow such an honor Cameron." I look around the crowd to make it look like I'm not favoring her.

I point to her. "You with the blonde hair and the glasses. Wearing the sunflowery top."

ETHANS POV

I see Hayes point to an area. I follow his finger and spot Kayla. She matched his perfect description.

Should I be happy or should I be jealous?

Why would Hayes pick her out of everyone in the crowd? Somethings up.

KAYLAS POV

Hayes points to me. Oh god. Please no. This isn't happening.

"Blonde hair." Could be anyone.

"With the glasses." Okay plenty of people have bad vision.

"And the sunflowery crop top." I look down at my shirt. Oh crap.

God why me.

The security guards come collect me from the crowd and I walk up the stage.

I get glares from the entire crowd. Everyone in this room is staring at me. And I'm starting to feel self conscious. 'Did I wear the wrong thing? Does this outfit make me look fat? Is my hair parted weird? Are my shoes untied? Is their something on my face?'

Oh shoot I just remembered why I'm up here.

They want someone to sing.

And that someone was me.

ETHANS POV

I see Kayla walk up to the stage slowly. She's looking around the room and I can tell that she's thinking of something. She doesn't look to happy.

She looks... Scared.

She also looks very pale. She walks on stage. And we lock eyes.

She smiles which causes me to smile. "Over here!" Hayes says.

She walks over to Hayes who is at the mic.

Dammit we had something going on here.

I watch as Hayes hugs her and whispers something in her ear.

HAYES POV

Kayla walks up on stage and she spots Ethan. They both smile at eachother. I have to stop this.

"Hey over here!" I wave at her. She's walking toward me so I have to act fast.

She stands next to me and I hug her and I whisper into her ear, "Show them what you can do. I have a surprise for you after the show." (AN: *insert smirk emoji here*)

KAYLAS POV

I just want to run up to Ethan and hug him and never let go. I was trying to make up my mind when Hayes called me over. Well I'll just hug Hayes first then. I stand there and he hugs me.

Wait he hugged me. Why? I'm supposed to hug him. He whispered in my ear.

What does he mean by, "I have a surprise for you after the show?"
