“Everyone ready?” Zayn asked as he revved up the engine of his Royce. Harry closed the door beside him as Louis and Niall entered from the other side. Liam hopped in the front passenger seat and screamed, “READY!!!”

Niall was a bit fidgety at the moment. He just thought of what might happen if they go out alone in the middle of a public place He does not want to get mobbed again That was bad enough one time. He was silent, contemplating this as Liam noticed this.

“Hey, Ni.”

Blue eyes found brown. “Yeah?”

“Had a good dream?” Liam teased, noting the sudden rush of blood into the blond’s face. Liam couldn’t help but laugh at the lad’s reaction. HE got a light punch on the shoulder at that, but from someone he didn’t expect. It was Louis. “Stop teasing him.” He said flatly. Liam felt a laugh within Zayn and he saw Harry smile out the window. Liam gave a quick sorry before turning his attention back up front. He looked up at the mirror to see Niall redder than before.

It was a long ride from Harry and Louis’ flat to Thames. But when they got there it was well worth it. Louis was smiling like an idiot most of the time. It felt weird when no one seemed to notice the five of them walking around in the middle of London. He’d expected to get mobbed the moment they stepped off the car, but no. His eyes stayed at Niall all throughout. He smiled as the Irish seemed to get excited just about anything. He then remembered Eleanor, It had been a week since they broke up, but no one knew that. Not even the lads. Eleanor was very accepting of the reason though, and Louis couldn’t believe she accepted that so easily, getting overturned by no one else but Niall himself. Louis slapped himself mentally for that thought. She was actually very supportive of him. She said she understood and she’d even help him, ‘capture that heart of his’. It was so surreal actually now he looked back at it. He tuned back into reality when someone grabbed him by the hand, it was Niall, overly excited to ride The London Eye. They fell in line and again, Louis wondered why no one seemed to recognize them. They got a car for the two of them only or to say, Niall pulled him into it as it closed. Harry, Zayn and Liam hopped on the next one. The ride then lurched forward and Niall practically attached himself at the glass. Louis laughed, “You are so adorable.” He shut his mouth the moment he realized it had gotten out. He stared wide eyed at the Irish. Niall turned to him, confusion in his eyes. He then smiled, “I am, aren’t I?” He smiled. Louis didn’t know what to answer to that. “I love that face of yours,” Niall mentioned, stepping closer. Louis was a bit nervous, unsure of what was going on. But something inside him made him step forward. Grabbed Niall by the hips and just kissed him, he felt the blond kiss back. It was amazing. He heard a click and the ride lurched to a stop, they broke apart. There was utter disbelief in Niall’s blue eyes.

“I… I’m sorry, I should’ve never…” Niall pulled away, stepping backwards. Only did the blaring alarms reached Louis’ ears. Please stay put. There has been a malfunction of the system. Step away from the glass doors.

Too late. Niall stepped too far. The door was open. They were a thousand feet in the air. Time stood still as Louis stood stuck to the floor of the car as he watched Niall fall backwards with a heart wrenching yell.

“NIALL!”

“I’m right here! No need to yell.” Niall replied beside him. Louis looked around; they were still in the car. Louis could feel his heart thumping hard against his chest. He held it fast, scrunching that part of his clothes. He noticed himself sweating as well. “You alright there?” Harry asked.

He nodded grimly in reply.
