Zayn and Harry exchanged worried glances before checking out Niall’s wrist, but he was wearing a long sleeve that reached up to his palms. Liam stared back; he was worried for his friend.

They found their way to the London eye. The sight of it made Louis’ heart race. Liam was the one who wanted to ride, so they followed him to it. Harry, laughing, pushed Niall and Louis into the car before waving at them as the door closed. The other three climbed up the next car. The ride lurched upward and Louis couldn’t help, but feel a little sick. He looked at Niall, but this time it was different. The lad was staring out blankly, no excitement at all. His phone beeped, indicating a text. He brought it out it said:

Hazzah: Talk to him.

He put it back his pocket and took a seat beside Niall, who tensed up a little. “Nervous?” he asked.

Niall shook his head avoiding his eyes. “Not for the reason you’d expect.”

This confused Louis, What’s that supposed to mean? “Why so quiet then?”

“Thinking about… things.”

“Like what?” A moment of silence followed that as Niall raised his blue eyes to meet his.

“Like you.” He said. Louis didn’t get it.

“Me?” That’s when the gears in his head turned and clicked. “Me…”

“Would… I mean, would you think I’m weird if I said… that… I like you?” Niall said, tears beginning to form in his eyes. “I’m sorry.. I shouldn’t have said that.” He looked away.

“No.” Louis answered; catching Niall’s chin and making the blond lad look him in the eye. “I don’t find it weird at all. I… like you too.”

Niall stared at him in disbelief. “But Eleanor…”

“We broke up.”

“Why?”

“I fell in love with someone else.” Louis leaned in, “You.” The kiss was absolutely perfect, Niall would say. I was his first. And he couldn’t believe it. Louis was kissing him. Louis pulled the other closer and nipped lightly at the Irishman’s bottom lip. He pulled away, “ I love you, Niall.”

Niall was crying. Bawling really. “and just hugged Louis tightly, holding on for dear life. Louis looked above his shoulder and saw the car where the other’s were was in line with them. They saw everything. They were whistling and cat calling although the glass didn’t allow the sound to go through.

Louis kissed Niall’s temple and whispered n his ear, “I’ll never leave you.”

Niall’s eyes glimmered. It was five years later and Louis was kneeling in front of him, offering him a ring. “Will you marry me?”

“Yes”
