Take Me Away

Is this real?

    -Blaires POV-

  I pack my binder and text books pausing to cough and sniffle, I swing my backpack over my shoulder and head out to the kitchen where my mom is. I take a seat on the kitchen stool and my mother hands me a plate with waffles and sausage on it. 

"Going to school I see." I look up at my mom nodding.

I finish my food handing my mom my plate just as the doorbell rings, I pick up my backpack again giving my mom a quick hug. 

    

    I walk to school on my usual path looking up at the ever changing leaves of fall. I do a little skip breathing in the crisp fall air my scarf coming just barely up to nose. When I arrive at school I'm greeted by Calum and Carter, Carter wraps an arm over my shoulder giving me a big smile. 

   "Welcome back!" Carter shouts hugging me closer, I smile looking up at him.

   "Thank you" I nod looking at Calum who cracks me a small smile so I nod again.

~Lunch~

    I take my seat with carter to my right and Calum and James to my left. I look down at my tray which has a sandwich, apple and milk on it. I take a small bite of my pb and j sandwich While Carter and Calum have a conversation about some guy thing I look to James and give him a warm smile.

    "Thanks for putting up with me." I take another bite then open my milk.

    "It was nothing." He smiles back "And I should thank you for helping me."

    Just as I was about to respond Carter wraps his arm around my waist pulling me close to him.

    "So Blaire since your feeling better I wonder if you'd a company me to my friends party." Carter smiles widely as I look up at him.

    "Uh..." I hesitate not sure so I look at Calum who then looks at carter.

    "Who?" Calum asks looking at carter, James listens in on our conversation while he eats his salad.

    " Morgan" Carter states and smiles again when Calum nods looking down at me.

    Calum holds my chin looking me in the eyes with his cold ones "Just be careful"

   I blush and nod which causes Calum to let go of my chin he's go back to eating so I turn to carter. "What time is the party?"

"8 so I'll pick you up around 7" he let's go of me and he goes back to eating as well and so do I.

~home~

   I open the door to my house finding my mom nowhere which is quite weird because she's always home when I'm home. I push that thought away and check the time seeing I have a few hours before I need to start getting ready I lock the door and head to my room to start on my homework.

   After finishing my homework and watching some TV I see that it's about 6 o'clock so I grab a Towle from a cabinet next to my room and head to the bathroom to take my shower.
  

    I turn the handle of the shower, water spouts out creating steam so I turn the fan on locking the bathroom door. I slip off my clothes and test the water before stepping into the warm shower. I let the hot water beat on my back before I grab the shampoo and conditioner, I start to wash my hair when I hear my mom walk in but there's someone with her. I ignore her and her guest and continue with my shower.

    I step out of the shower grabbing the towel which sits on the toilet lid. I pat my self dry wrapping the towel around my body and wrap the smaller towel in my hair. I check my phone seeing that I have about 45 minutes left to get ready and that I have a text from Carter. I open my phone and read the text then respond.
