Protector

-blaires pov-

I ran home as quick as I could with the biggest blush I have ever had.

'James kissed m-my cheek and was thinking about me' I think to my self. 'and since when have I stuttered in my thoughts!' I shook off the thoughts and kept running as soon as I got home I darted into my room quickly.

"Hey mom I'm back and I'll be in my room doing homework or something if you need me!" I yell as I slam the door shut hopping she didn't see my blush.

"....Ok I think I'm in the safe zone." I smile widely and cover my face flopping down onto my bed flailing my arms and rolling around squealing.

"Eeeeeppp!!!!!" I squeal and stop moving to look up at my ceiling and catch my breath "he was so cute when he tripped and then the kiss on my cheek!" I spent five minutes murmuring to myself about how cute James was.

After those five minutes My phone buzzed to interrupt my thoughts. I sat up and picked up my phone to see a text from Carter.

"Carter: Come outside xx" I sighed a little thinking about Carter. I set my phone down and fixed my hair which was a mess from rolling around and I headed outside. I was greeted by an ever so confident Carter.

"Hey" I smiled and walked over to him. he pushed off the tree he was leaning on and gave me a hug when I was close enough.

"I've missed my Blaire" he kisses my head, and it was like he took control of my body because I actually hugged him back.

I could just tell he was smiling more then usual. "so I heard James made a move on you"

"Sort of I mean all he did was kiss my cheek" I feel his hug tighten around my body and I start moving my arms away from Carter. he stops hugging me.

"I can tell him to back off if you would like" I look into his eyes and he looks back at mine.

"No thank you I'm sure it was just a friendly thing." I smile at him reassuringly.

"Alright then from this day on I will protect." he smiles back.

"From what exactly Carter? I can take care of myself."

He chuckles at my response and I shoot him a confused look.

He leans his forehead on mine closing his eyes "silly I'll protect you from any un-friendly ones" my heart stops for a moment.

'Wh-what is happening, why is everyone being cute today!' I think o my self as I stare wide eyed at carters face. 'He's not teasing me for once and he's actually being nice.....'

He opens his eyes and I immediately look away "now that we have that settled I will be on my way." he moves his face away from mine and walks away waving.

I wave back and when he's far enough away. I gain a blush and walk back inside, 'his face was so close to mine!' I stop in my tracks.

"Wait....am I falling for them?"

I have finally finished the long awaited update sorry if it's really crappy I've had writers block recently and culture fair at my school. so sorry if this didn't get up when I promised but hey at least it's up now!
