1. Acceptance Letter

Asher's P.O.V

"Asher get your lazy ass up right now!" I heard my Aunt Jackie scream at me from outside the closet door. Yes you read that right closet door. I live in a closet in the living room of my Aunt's house.

"Yes, Jackie." I said as I got up. I left my pajamas on as I got up putting my slippers on and walking out the door.

"Make me, John, Holly, and Hayden all a bowl of cereal. While I get everyone up then go get the mail. Sort it out between everyone in the house. Get to it." She said before walking up the stairs. I pulled my hair back into a ponytail before walking into the kitchen.

I grabbed 4 bowls and laid them at each plate mat on the dining table. I poured different cereals based on who liked which then got the milk pouring some in each bowl. I put the spoons in each bowl just as everyone walked into the dining room. I walked out as they took their seat. I walked outside and to the mail box. I pulled out the 6 envelopes in the mail box. As I closed the mail box back a black owl swooped down a little bit and dropped an envelope with my name on it. Put it in my back pocket as I sorted the others mail out. I gave everyone their mail and then pulled mine out. I took a cereal bar and walked to my room. I opened the envelope and pulled the letter out. I unfolded it and started to read.

' Hogwarts School
of Witchcraft and Wizardry
Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore

   Dear Ashley Potter,

We are pleased to inform you that, as you have now turned eleven years of age and have the necessary talents, you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.

Term begins on September 1. We await your confirmation owl by no later than July 31.

I ate the rest of my cereal bar and walked out and tapped John on the shoulder.

"Yes, Asher?" He asked as he rinsed his bowl. I held up the letter.

"Does this have to do with what happened to my parents?" I asked him. He sighed and gave Jackie a look. She nodded.

"Holly, Hayden. Come with me to the store." She said and they all got up and left.

"Happy birthday Asher." He started off. Has he been hiding something from me all these years. And now he's letting it all out.

"Asher, you're parents were wizards.."
