December love. (sniper x reader)

Tomorrow?

It was a cold December night. A thin layer of snow lay on the ground around the base.

You looked out the door, the white flakes bringing joy to your heart.

Winter was always your favorite seasons, and winter at night was even better.

You glance at the untrodden blanket of ice, and decide you have to go out.

Your shoes are not by the door so, you make up your mind to go out anyway since you'll only be there for a second.

Stepping in to the icy, frost-bitten weather, with bare feet, you look up at the dark purple sky and let out a longing sigh.

Soon it'll be spring and all this will be over.

"Hey."

Your thoughts are interrupted.

" Yeah sniper?" You say peacefully.

"Come inside, you'll catch a cold" he says, sounding concerned.

You take one last glace at the sky, and smile.

"Okay." You say walking over to sniper, leaving shallow footprints in the snow, rapping your arms around him, and burying your face in his chest.

"Thank you for caring about me." You say softly.

He looks shocked at first but then settles down, and returns the hug with gladness.

"We can go out in the snow tomorrow." He says.

"Promise?" You ask happily.

"Promise."
