Niall's P.O.V

*14 years ago* (A/N Let's just pretend Zayn, Liam and Louis lived in the village of Holmes Chapel.)

"Mom! Can I go outside with my new friends?" I called out. My mother was busy talking to Aunt Dorothy and her neighbors. Me and my mother came all the way from Ireland to come to Cheshire and visit my Aunt Dorothy - it's my first time to see her.

"Mooom! Can I please go play with Zayn, Liam and Louis outside?" I asked again. My mother sighed, "I don't know Ni. It's not safe for five year olds like you to wander this village all by yourselves."

"Oh no.." Aunt Dorothy shook her head, "..It's fine. Holmes Chapel is a very disciplined and a very peaceful village, there's absolutely nothing to worry about." she said with a big smile. "Hmm, okay.." my mom finally said, "..but be back before 5 and don't go too far, okay?"

"Yay! Thank you mommy!!!" I squealed and kissed her cheek, "And we'll be back soon!" I grinned widely. My mom just shook her head, "Kids."

I ran to my friends and told them the good news, "That's great! What should we play first?" Zayn asked excitedly. "What about tag?" Liam suggested. "Ohh! That sounds fun!" Louis exclaimed, clapping his hands. "Then tag it is!" I screamed.

The four of us screamed as we ran outside, feeling the fresh air enter our nose. "So where should we play?" I asked. "To my daddy's car park! We play there everyday." Zayn answered.

We ran through several houses and people. I was surprised - people here are very kind and approachable. A woman even took a picture of us, and kissed each of us in the cheek. So sweet. But the most exciting part was when we arrived at Zayn's dad's car park. Play Time!!!

The first it was Liam and it just took a short time for him to catch me. And when I was it, I had a hard time catching even just one of them. Wow, these guys are professionals in this game. I ran and ran and ran but nothing seems to work. Then time came when I was finally out of breath. "Oh come on, Niall. Catch us!" Louis whined. "I..I c-can't..Y-you guys are f-fast." I panted.

When I finally got enough energy to run, I once again chased everyone but still, I can't catch them. I kept running and running when something caught my eye. "Hey, time out guys!" I called out. "Uggh, what now?!" Zayn complained.

I took a few steps closer to the car park's door. I swear I saw someone looking at us. I stepped outside and there it was, a boy just our age. "What's your name?" I asked. "I-I'm Harry." he said weakly. He was obviously shy. My three friends joined me, "Who's that Niall?" Liam asked. "His name is Harry." I answered him, then looked at Harry, "Do you want to play with us Harry? We still need more players." I smiled. Harry's eyes grew wide, "Really?!"

I looked at my three friends waiting for an answer, "Sure! We would love a new friend!" Louis said. Harry just smiled, "Thank you!"

We invited Harry inside and resumed our game. At first Harry was a little bit shy and was weak on the game, so I took advantage and caught him. But as the game goes on, Harry became stronger and faster, leaving me the it again.

Several minutes of endless running passed, all of us are sweaty and out of energy, so we decided to sit at the side of the road. It was late afternoon and I know I should be home, but I think mom won't mind.

After a few minutes of talking and laughing, Liam and Louis went on their way home while Zayn simply entered his house. Harry and I walked for a while and tried to get to know each other - I told him my secrets, my fears, my biggest weakness and even the things that can bring me allergies.
