Louis' P.O.V

Vacation. Car. Beach. Accident. Blood -- The memories of what happened to me and my buddies are still fresh in my mind. Why? Why did that happen? What for? 

---flashback---

"You lads ready for one heck of a vacation?" Niall asked. "Hell yeah we are! WOOO!!!" Zayn screamed at the top of his lungs. Liam rolled his eyes, "Gee Zayn. Calm down. we're not even there yet." 

"BEACH!! FOOD!! WHITE SAND!! HERE WE GOOO!!!" Niall screamed. "Louis, please calm your boyfriend down." Liam pleaded. I pecked Niall on the lips which made him blush. "You are adorable, Lou." Niall whispered. I gave him a wink in reply.

"What are we waiting for, mates? Let's hit that beach!!" I yelled. The four of us slid in my car while making 'WOO!' noises. I started the engine, checked the side mirrors and started driving. "This will be the best vacation ever!" I cheered enthusiastically. "Hell yeah, it will!" Zayn seconded. 

The drive to the beach was approximately 4 hours long, so we decided to listen to Boys Like Girls while on the way. It was just generally fun! All four of us singing our lungs out, it was fantastic!

The song 'Hero/Heroine' came. "OH MY GOD! I LOVE THIS SONG! TURN IT UP BOO BEAR!!" Niall yelled. "Uhh, I don't want to be yelled at." I teased. "JUST TURN THE FUCKING VOLUME UP!" he screamed. "You're a bossy boyfriend." I mumbled. I turned the volume up making the song flood our ears. We decided to sing along with it -- Niall had the most audible voice though.

"I FEEL LIKE A HERO AND YOU ARE MY HEEEEEROINE! DO YOU KNOW THAT YOU'RE LO--LOUIS! LOOK OUT!!!!" 

I snapped my attention back to my driving but it was too late. A humongous truck was speeding towards us. I spun the stirring wheel to the left barely dodging the huge vehicle. What I didn't notice was a van heading towards our direction. The clash of both vehicles was a blur. What happened after that? I have no idea.

Now here I am in a hospital still in the middle of healing. Nothing serious happened to me though. Nothing but broken legs. Zayn and Liam just received a number of bruises and maybe fractured bones, but both of them are okay already. Niall on the other hand is still in the middle of a fight of life and death.

"Lou?" a voice called out with a knocking on the door. The door opened and two familiar faces entered the room -- Zayn and Liam. "How's our Boo Bear?" Liam asked gently. 

"Fine. Maybe just -- just broken legs. I think I can't walk from now on.." I fought my tears from falling "..so starting today, both of you are obliged to carry me everywhere I want to go." I joked. Both of them gave a weak laugh.

"Where's Niall? Is he awake?" I asked. Suddenly, the tension in the room grew. Both boys fell silent. That just meant something is up. "Well? Is he?!" I demanded for an answer.

"Uhh -- Lou.." Liam started. "No, Liam." Zayn warned. "We have to, he's our best friend too. And he's the boyfriend." I heard Liam whisper. Zayn sighed, "Fine."

I didn't like the mood they're giving me. The tone of their voices is telling me that something horrible happened to Niall. "Lou..." Liam cleared his throat, "Niall didn't make it. He -- well, he's gone." 

I can feel my whole world falling apart. Niall's gone? My boyfriend is -- gone? Tears were starting to form at the back of my eyes. Why? Why did this happen? Why Niall?! Why can't it be me?!

Zayn sighed, "Look, Louis..I'm so sorry. We were--" "No. It's okay. I just -- I just need some time alone, please." I said weakly. Tears were starting to fall out from my eyes. "Okay. Just call us when you need us okay?" Liam said. I just gave a small nod.
