Chapter 6:Friends

Hope's POV

When It's already recess...I go to my locker also Xander and we put our stuff there then....I go to the cafeteria with Xander....he seemed kinda bored or something I can't explain. So breaking his daydream I faked cough and and he suddenly responded.

"So who where you thinking of?"

"Someone"

"And who is that someone?"

"Someone who you shouldn't know "

Wow nice move Xander....game on.

Xander's POV

When recess started....I fell kinda warm or something I cannot explain, I totally wanted to have a headstart of having a friend sooo. I am trying to think on what should I say to Hope until...

"So who were you thinking of?"

I don't know what to say in that time so I gotta say something.

"Someone"

"And who is that someone?"

I don't even know who I'm thinking of so I said.

"Someone you shouldn't know"

Well sorry Hope...you were distracting me.

Hope's POV

By the time we reached to the cafeteria, I seen Amy and Carter. They're both waving so that I can know where are they sitting at.

I'm really ashamed of Xander because since his new here..I got to invite him into our table so that he has someone to talk with...

"Hey Xander...wanna join me? Because if you don't i'm fine with it."He laughed a little and said.

"Yeah sure....maybe"

We went to the table where my friends are and by the time we sat my friends started the talk

"Soo....how was your day so far?" She said to me with a happy look.

I was confused why is she happy for the both but their is one word about me....I AM NOT YET ALLOWED TO HAVE A 'LOVE LIFE'. Anyway.

"Ummmm....fine?"

"Seriously, that's all you can say Hope."

"Oh am I say supposed to say something rather that that?" I asked them not joyfully

I guess Xander is kinda bored....so I will just join him in our talk

"So...silent Xander, how was your day so far?"

"Fine" he said it with a weak smile

I seen both of my friends giggling about us which means Me and Xander. So that I can tell them that I'm not prepared to have a boyfriend I told them.

"FYI Guys...my age is still not yet appropriate for what your thinking of"

"Oh come on...it's just all in the process."

I don't know what Carter is talking about the process about so I just asked them.

"What process"

I seen Amy writing something in a piece of paper and passed it to me under the table and it said

"Strangers~Friends~Best friends~Best friends forever~Lovers~Partners~Married~Couple~Family"

Wut the wut.....seriously Amy, a relationship thingy.

"Seriously Amy....me and Xander are friends"

"Wait Wha-"

I bumped him a little so that he can know that I am just saying that

"Umm yes...me..and Hope are....friends" he said it with a 'It's not true' look

Xander's POV

while I was silent and eating my food, I heard Hope saying

"Seriously Amy....me and Xander are friends"

I almost choke of what she just said...we are still not yet friends, we're still strangers and I don't know her yet...I didn't even get her number.

"Wait wha-"

She bumped me a little saying that it's not real and that's the time I realized that she wasn't telling the truth...or maybe this is a headstart or something...Anyway.

"Umm yes...me..and Hope....are friends" I said it with a 'It's not true' look. Because it's really not true.

By the time the bell rang me and the friends stood up including Hope and we go to our separate ways..well next subject is Sports, my favorite...I wonder if Hope is good at it.

We walked together making me nervous because I notice some students looking at us. I need to ask Hope about earlier.

"Hope?"

"Yeah?"

"Why did you tell your friends that I am your friend?"

"Because I want to see you smile by having a friend and I need to tell them that this is my friend"

I was blushing about what Hope said to me...is she doing this for my own good...I kinda like her now, wait, what did you say Xander? Snap out of it!
