Bella's POV
I lay in a room on a bed. Unsure of where I am I begin to panic a little. I open my eyes more and am blinded by the bright lights of the room I'm in. Almost every part of my body is aching with pain and stiffness. I manage to turn my head to my left and I see someone with there head asleep in the bed I'm on. My eyes begin to adjust to the lighting and I see they are sitting on a chair and holding my hand with one hand and have there for head resting on there forearm. My vision finally focuses completely and I can see now that the have brown hair and I can tell that it's Dylan. Dylan's asleep with his head on my bed and holding me hand. I can't help but smile at that. I squeeze his hand a little tighter with happiness and Dylan wakes up with groggy eyes. He squints his beautiful brown eyes and realizes I'm awake. His eyes go wide and a smile grows so big on his face I can't even explain it.

"Bella." He says quietly and sounding surprised. His eyes look like they are beginning to water and a tear trickles down his cheek.

"Are-are you okay?" He asks me worried.

"I'm okay." I managed to get out and smile

"I'm going to get the nurse, hold on." He said sprinting out of the room with excitement.

I laid there on my bed and then it clicked. Nurse. I was in a hospital. My mind started spinning. Why was I in a hospital? Why did Dylan have the look of relief and exhaustion on his face? How long have I been in this room? More importantly, why was I in this room. All I could remember was walking home from Dylan's and going home to Jarred and not knowing where my mom was. I remember being, being hit.. Some memories began to come back.

A blonde nurse then walked in the door and Dylan stood outside the door waiting. I could see he's brown hair in the little window up high on the door. I could imagine his beautiful brown eyes, perfectly shaped jaw, and all his cute little moles on his face. I thought of Dylan as the nurse did things like checked my blood pressure and some other things which I don't know what they were. I remembered how Dylan comforted me and how he makes me laugh when I'm down. I couldn't help but smile. The nurse gave me a weird look and then spoke.

"I'm surprised you're smiling, I mean for someone in this shape. Are you in pain?" She asked.

"Yes. My bodies aching. It feels like I've been hit with a car." I admitted

"Well yes, that would make sense. Because of the stress you where under when the incident happened, your muscles were tensed up for hours. So why are you smiling?" She finally questioned once again.

I looked at the window in the door and I could see that Dylan was now on his tippy toes trying to look threw the window and clearly struggling. He was tall but not 6ft tall.

I smiled even more and answered the nurse.
"If you look out the window of the door, you'll see the guy who went to get you to check on me. Thats Dylan. When I woke up, he was asleep with his head on my bed and holding my limp and scratched hand." I finished.

"Oh really? He was still in here when you woke up?" She questioned.
"He's been in this room for a week, only leaving to use the washroom and coming back not even a minute later."

I was completely shocked.
"A week?" I said surprised
"I've been here for a week? And Dylan stayed here the entire time..?"

The nurse began to speak as she continued with whatever she was doing on this machine that was attached to me.
"As fare As I know, yes. Ever time I came in to check your vitals, he was here. Either sleeping or awake, impatiently waiting."

"For what?" I questioned.

"If you were going to wake up sweaty, you were in ruff condition when you were brought in by ambulance." She finished as if stating the obvious.
"Alright well you seem to be okay for now, you'll have to stay in the hospital for a few more days to recover.

"O-okay" I said in shock from everything the nurse had told me. She walked out of the room after writing a few things on her clipboard. She said something to Dylan and then he came in. She probably told him he could come and see me now.

"Dylan, did you really stay here for a week..?" I asked.

Dylan looked down and scratched the back of his head and looked up at me again. "Yeah.." He said clearly embarrassed.

"Why would you do that?" I questioned.

"Well.. I just couldn't leave you. I couldn't leave you in this hospital room alone. I couldn't let you wake up and be alone, confused and scared. I couldn't leave you again..." Dylan finished his sentence and sat in the seat beside my bed and put his head into his hands.

"Leave me a-again? Dylan when have you left me? You've been my only friend since I moved here." I said sincerely.

"I did. I left you. I let you walk home alone from my house. Then you didn't text me. I walked to your house and.."
Dylan stopped and shut his eyes tight and took a deep breath and tried to continue. " I heard your screams for help and I could t bare to know that you were in pain and danger because I let you go by yourself." I could see tears pilling up in his eyes.

"Dylan... That's not your fault." I looked at him from my hospital bed. "You can't blame this on yourself. Jarred's a bad man.." I just barely spat out his name.
