-Bella's Pov-
It's been a week and I still haven't heard anything from the police station about my mom and I'm beyond worried. I'm petrified. I'm afraid of what Jared did to her and I hate how he treated her. I'm afraid that Jared will find me again, and this time make sure no one finds out what he did to me by killing me afterwords...
"Hey what's up Bella!"
I snap out of my daze when I hear Dylan come up behind the couch to see me. I was watching Tokyo Ghoul on my laptop since it's not on Netflix. I quickly closed my laptop not wanting Dylan to see what I was watching. (For those of you who don't know, Tokyo Ghoul is an Anime, one that you need to read subtitles if you don't speak Japanese, anyways...)
"Nothing just watching something" I reply hoping he doesn't ask what.
"What were you watching?" He smiles at me showing his beautifully white teeth and adorable as hell smile
God damnit this kid and his questions and his perfect smile. Damn you Dylan.
"Oh.. Umm nothing you wouldn't know what it was anyways" okay I think I'm in the clear.
"You'd be surprised how many shows I've watched and are aware of." He smirks and let out a laugh.
"Tokyo Ghoul.." I say in such a mumble that he could barely understand what I was saying.
"What? I couldn't understand a word of that Bell." He laughs at me.
"God damn it.. Tokyo ghoul" I speak with a much louder and projected voice this time. Then I'm filled with embarrassment. My face is as red as a tomato and I know it. I feel like I'm going to start sweating from the embarrassment. (For those of you who don't know Tokyo Ghoul is an Anime. A very badass one at that.)
He stares at me with a blank face, and then a smirk appears on his face. He bursts out laughing and my face is now completely red. I wish I could sink into a hole and die
