Hello!!! After brainstorming all day and letting the creative juices flow, I came up with what you're about to read. Hope you like it. Don't forget to vote, like and share your comments

Kevin's POV

I hear the honk of a car and quickly look up. She's a vision as she steps out of the car. Her formerly blonde hair is quickly becoming red, one would think she's dyeing it but it's just an after effect of the awakening process. She surveys the house as I stare at her from her head to her toes. She is tall, not as tall as I am but definitely tall for a woman. She's slim and well proportioned. Her red blouse is slightly opened at the top, showing the perfect curve of her cleavage. I don't want people staring at my woman so, we might have to talk about a wardrobe change. Her black leggings cling to her like second skin, showing off her long, perfectly straight legs. She's walking towards the house, taking confident strides. I've missed her so much. I close the curtain and go get ready to have the old boring process of shock and denial again. Only I'm hoping it doesn't end at the denial part. This one must work...it has to.

Natalie's POV

I arrive at the house of creeps and I don't understand why I didn't get welcomed outside. I mean, the invite was all fancy so I'm not out of place to desire a fancy reception. The house is stunning though, and very creepy. It's like this place has rubbed a genie lamp in me because a strange feeling gradually envelopes me. I'm having this powerful warning instinct that tells me I would never remain the same if I walk through the doors, which are incredibly detailed by the way. I shrug off the feeling and walk towards the door. I'm a strong woman, nothing scares me.

Even as nothing scares me, I'm not prepared for what happens as I step onto the path that leads to the door. It's like a force field erupted from the very point I'm standing and covered the entire area. I try to step back but there is something there keeping me from moving. It's uncontrollably hot and the urge to burst into flames is so enticing. I look up and see it's actually a beautiful evening. The sky is beautifully orange with splashes of pink here and there, I should get a jacket of that shade of orange, it's perfect. I think I can see the outline of the force field as I notice an almost invisible shimmer at the edge of the sun. Everything other thing seemed normal and I believe those on the other side won't even notice if this side vanishes or burns down. The heat is getting worse and I just want to get in and strip. This is a big house so, I expect air conditioning. Danny momentarily crosses my mind and I wonder what he's doing. I wonder if I'd ever see him again. I think of my parents, having their biannual vacation in Yankari Games Reserve in Nigeria. They are forever young at heart and the only person they love as much as each other is me. Even if I never get to see Danny again, I would fight to be with my parents one last time.

Suddenly, it feels like I'm pulled to the door. I don't resist it and I move without struggling. I'm already trapped in the force field - struggling would make zero sense. I lift my hand to knock but the door slowly opens on it's on - just as it does in horror movies. I smile at the cliche and walk in, not in the least scared when it slams behind me. I listen to hear anything that I should be scared of and I don't hear anything out of place. No creaking wood board, no metal clang, no usual sighing of the wind. If anything,  it seems hotter inside than outside. Where is the welcoming party? Are they really going to leave me to figure it out? Are they trying to make me mad? I see the emblem that was on my invite on the wall, only bigger and in gold. I can see it clearly now and it's actually kinda pretty. It's a woman covered with a long, single fabric. Her hair is flying all over the place, her hands are outstretched like she's carrying something and her fists are on fire. As I stare at it, it feels like I've known this woman all my life, like I've had some connection with her. A sudden feeling of deja vu descends on me and it's like I've done all this before, like I've been here before. I get hotter but the heat isn't uncomfortable anymore. There's a sudden rush to my head and I grab the red tapestry where the emblem is hanging and to my surprise, my hand burns right through. I stare at my hands and they are glowing red and orange. I drop to my knees and the last thing I see is a pair of shoes walking towards me.
