(Laxus)

I stood there in dismay, gazing at her sadly but decided not to bother her in fear she might leave again before I got the chance to try and become friends with her again.

Sighing, I walked over to the bar and sat down as Mirajane placed a drink in front of me.

"What's wrong Laxus?" she mused and dried out a mug that was recently washed.

"I don't know what the hell I did. It's not even been all of 3 minutes since she's been back." I muttered, glancing over at the now fully grown (y/n) who was busily chatting away with Erza and Juvia.

I sighed, 'I wonder how many boyfriends she's had' bitter, jealous thoughts ran through my head. She was far too pretty... No... Stunningly beautiful to not have had one. I sighed again, relishing the time it was just her and I. She had never once left my mind, although many thought she was dead I couldn't come to believe she was...

Deciding I wasn't in the mood I pushed my drink away and stood, matching back upstairs.

(your Pov)

You glanced over at the shapely blond man as he trudged up the stairs.

'Serves him right'

"So... How do you know Fairy Tail and what's up with you and Laxus?" Lucy asked curiously, causing you to shift uncomfortably.

"Well..." you pondered, "where would you like me to begin?"

"How do you know Fairy Tail? Were you once a member?" Juvia asked and you shook my head.

"I was rescued when I was younger... And brought here."

"Who rescued you?" the young sky Dragon, Wendy, quietly asked, you swung your head around, realizing you drew in a crowd of those who weren't here when you were.

"Laxus." his name rolled out icily, reminiscing on what he had done when you were gone. Although you knew it was mostly your fault, "he rescued me during a particularly cold winter, I had been... Traveling and pushed myself too far and I passed out. Gods know why he was out there that day in the freezing cold but im... Thankful he did." you choked out those last words.

You tapped your hand uncomfortably on the wooden table where a single stoned ruby ring say on my left hand ring finger, causing Erza to screech.

"Y/N YOURE MARRIED?!?!"

You stiffened and looked at her with the most wtf face ever.

"No no!" you quickly exclaimed, " It's just a ring!"

"On your ring finger?"

"It's a promise ring... Plus it keeps the Pervy boys away." you hid your hand.

Glancing over at the previously sclass only area you saw you gained Laxus's attention only making you think harder about what you were doing.

'Should I really cut him out like this?' you thought.
