It had been a couple of days since everyone was together. That was until everyone had found out what was going on past their little city, their little city of people. That the whole world was plunging into the darkness of acceptance. Every person needs it, every person couldn't live without it. Their little city was the last of city's not yet taken, taken away, away by this darkness. At least that was until a couple of days ago. It had been a couple of days since everyone was together.

There were only a couple of them left after the international broadcast that had been shown a month after the break out of acceptance. When the people of their little town found out about the desire, the soul desire of their existences, no one could get over the need of perfection. That was the month when they lost Janie. Janie was the most beautiful girl of the entire town. She always spoke in such a sweet voice that when you were sitting and having a debate, all she had to do was say one word and everyone agreed with her. She was the only person that could reason with the bullies, tell the teachers they were wrong, and tell the "smartest people in school" that they weren't very smart.

When the people from the government came to control their little town, Janie had gone to talk to them, but of course they thought she was trying to disobey orders. And in less than a second, all you could hear through out their little town was one simple movement of a bullet leaving it's safe home of its chamber and invading Janie's beautiful figure. The people of their little town opened their doors at exactly the moment it had happened. Rushing to her side, Janie's mother collapsed onto the dying yellow grass of the field where Janie had been shot.

"Janie, Janie don't do this! Janie come on, you can open your eyes now. come on Janie! Come on!" Her mother kept screaming in hope of her still being able to open her now lifeless eye's.

Everyone was now standing over the crying mother. Some cried, some looked away, and others fell to their knees beside Janie's now abandoned body. no one yet able to apprehend what had just recently happened. The body now lays there, motionless, taken away from the soul that onced lived inside the body.

It had been a couple of days since everyone had been together. Since Janie's death. Since society was brought down. Since everything was normal. Since time had stopped. Since the world was changed. since the one word came out of the world's leaders mouth, the word that would start it all: Acceptance.
