By that time Jessica is 11 and her new brother is 12 years old. After a while of living together, whenever they would go walking together as a family they would get dirty looks from other people who would walk past them. Some people would even walk up to them and call them gross or even freaks. Even though those words were heart breaking, Samantha and Carol didn't mind because they loved each other and didn't care what other people thought. When they were in the car driving to the store their song came on the radio. They just started to sing along to Drag Me Down from One Direction. Whenever Jessica and Jake would go to school they would get picked on by the other kids just because both of their parents are girls. For them it was pretty hard to make friends because of that but eventually they met a few people who weren't homophobic and they all became best friends. Sometimes they would ask their parents if they could have a sleepover and they were always welcome to have sleepovers. Whenever they had sleepovers they would always talk about their crushes. One time when Samantha and Carol were upstairs sleeping they stayed up all night gossiping, talking about their crushes, and they even watched super scary movies. When Samantha and Carol woke up the next morning they found the kids passed out on the floor and on the couches with the television on. When Jessica, Jake, and their friends went to school they would all hang out at their spot where they always go. For some reason Jake saw this other boy who had blonde hair, and blue eyes and Jake fell in absolute love with that boy. Jake thought to himself for a little while of deciding whether he should walk to the boy. After a little while later Jake finally decided to go talk to they boy. When he went up to the boy he said "hey." When the boy turned around to look at Jake, Jake got lost in the boy's amazing blue eyes.
