It is the next day after the "encounter". Matt and Nick both take the bus. The whole time they didn't talk, only exchanging awkward glances to each other. Despite the uncomfortable bus ride, they make it to school. When they walk in they see all the little cliques gathering together talking about something. The jocks never talk to the nerds so why today? Nick looks at Matt. " I feel sick". "Why, are you trying tell me that people know what happened with us yesterday". Nick, convinced the drama was about them says "lets find out". He goes over to someone in the group that is talking about the news and says "what is this all about" hoping that no one found out about them. The person replies "Hannah Fiscker is pregnant!!!". Matt quickly responds with "thank God". The person looks at him weird and then walks away. Nicks other best friend Maggie walks in school and shouts "Hey, Nick, wait up for me". Nick smiles and gives her a hug. "Whats all this fuss about". Matt rolling his eyes says " That bitch Hannah is pregnant". "Well, they don't call her a slut for nothing". They all laugh and walk to class. Nick has chemistry first, and Maggie is in his class. He is debating if he should tell Maggie what happened yesterday because they tell each other everything. Nick decides that it would not be a good idea and just holds a normal conversation. Maggie and Nick have known each other since 3rd grade, and they know each other better than they know themselves. Maggie can tell something is bothering Nick. " Nick, whats wrong, your acting weird". "Umm... can we talk later". The bell rings and Maggie says" ok" and walks out of the classroom. Now Nick has to make a decision, will he lie to his best friend and stay loyal to his "partner in crime", or will he tell Maggie the truth and ruin the relationship that he has with Matt?
