   Someone walks in the door and I say in monotone-

" hello welcome to Safeway"

    Yep I work here. I hate it. It's tolerable but I just hate the working part. Someone clears their throat in front of me and I look up. I groan when I see its Haden. He has been crazy about me for two years now and it's getting old. He's nice but not my type. Almost everyday he comes here he buys one thing, finds my checkout line, and asks me on a date.

"Hello to you too, Reagan" he smiles.

I reach over and grab his pack of gum and scan it.

" it will be 1.89" I say with no emotion.

"Okay, but will you go on a date with me this Friday?" He says holding two dollars.

"No Haden." I grab the dollars and put them in the register.

"Fine. Oh and keep the change!" He says walking away.

We have this same conversation everyday. My phone buzzes in my pocket and I pull it out. It's Harry.

@harrystyles: hey love x

I blush and stare at the screen. He's so sweet.

"Who's got you all blushy?" A little old lady asks standing with a basket, ready to check out.

"Must be very special." She adds

"Oh just a boy, Harry" I tell her with a small smile, and I start checking the items out.

"Oh and $35.98" I say to the kind old woman.

"Okay dear," she pays.

"Bye, and good luck with that Harry!"And then she walks away.

I get home and check my phone again.

I put my phone down and go change into pajamas, but when I get to my room I see Jacob with a plastic bag standing over choncé's tank.

"Jacob what are you doing!" I ask quickly.

"Well umm you see I was going to put choncé in a bag and take him on a walk but he won't get in the bag." He says sadly.

I pinch the bridge of my nose and sigh.

"Um Jacob, you don't take fish on walks." I say calmly.

"Oh but how do I play with it?" he asks, sometimes I think he has a 5-year-olds brain.

"You don't. It's a fish" I say and he frowns.

"Then you have a stupid pet." And he walks out of the room.

   I change and walk into my kitchen to heat up some soup. I'm about to turn on the stove when I hear a chime from my phone. I walk over to it and read the message.

Unknown number: heyy babeee xx

I know it's Harry. I decide I'm going to eat before I text him back. But when I'm cooking my food I hear my phone go off repeatedly. I finally, after five minutes, go and grab my phone and read the messages.

Unknown number: is this Reagan?

Unknown number: hello

Unknown number: ?:(

Unknown number: Are you sleeping? x

Unknown number: are you awake? x

Unknown number: are you dead? x

Me: no I'm not dead or sleeping.

Me: I was just making dinner

Unknown number: can I have some

Me: no? I don't share

Unknown number: bah humbug >:(

Ebenezer Scrooge: pleeeeessseee I'm hungry

Me: too bad

Ebenezer Scrooge: :'(

Me: so whatcha doing

Ebenezer Scrooge: writing

Me:cool, cool.

I go back to my food and take it off the stove. I sit down at the table and start eating it. My phone rings again and I read it.

Mick Jagger: I have an idea

Me: wat

Mick Jagger: let's FaceTime

    I stare at the phone. Harry styles wants to FaceTime me. I leave the dinning room and run to my bedroom and brush my hair and put on makeup. I look at myself and I realize I'm wearing pajamas. I change into a low cut shirt and light pink shorts and sit on my bed. Pulling up the FaceTime app I start to think. What if he thinks I'm weird, what if he thinks I'm ugly? I shakily click on his icon and it starts ringing.
