Lights.
Blinding lights.
It's the first thing I see as I slowly open my eyes.
What's happening?
Where am I?
Then it struck me, I don't even know my name.
How can I not know my name?!
All of a sudden, pain shots through my skull like a bullet and I'm pretty sure I screamed, but I couldn't hear my own voice.
My head feels like glass and ready to break at any time.
Then a memory comes back to me.
A sudden, brief memory. The memory is unclear, but I could see a small child.
Maybe 5 or 6 years old?
She was pale with strawberry blonde hair and emerald, green eyes.
I finally realized it was me.
Okay, I haven't really seen myself yet, but somewhere in my brain, this memory is familiar.
Suddenly, a beautiful woman is standing next to the little girl.
They both had the same hair color, but the woman had mysterious, brown eyes.
Is she my mother?
Who is that little girl?
How can I remember this specific memory, but still have no clue as to what my name is?
Before, I could ask anymore questions.
The pain comes back and the memory fades.
That's when I finally notice I wasn't alone in the room.
There were four other people in white jackets and name tags.
They all had clipboards and taking some notes.
Before I know it, I screamed and demanded for them to give me answers.
What annoyed me the most was their blank stares as if not caring about me or the questions I'm asking.
Finally, a tall woman approached me. I looked her over and started judging her in my mind.
She was a tall, skinny woman.
Her blonde hair was resting on her shoulder in slight waves.
Judging on her looks, she looked pretty young to me.
What stood out the most was her hazel eyes.
Those eyes.
I've seen them before I just don't know where.
She gave me a small smile that looked slightly forced.
"Glad to see you awake, Ms. Victoria Hunter."
