Victoria's POV
Where are they taking me?
I just met them......Should I really trust them?
I'm starting to feel stupid for leaving the comfort and security of my room."Are you okay? You seem so nervous and scared," said London interrupting my thoughts.
"Oh...Ummm..Yeah, I'm fine. Just thinking," I replied with a shy, awkward smile.
I still feel really uncomfortable that I don't remember them, but they give me knowing glances. It terrifies me that there is a 99.99% chance of them knowing me while there is a 0% chance of me remembering who they are.
"Well, here we are!" said Iris happily.
I looked up and was completely shocked to find ourselves in front of giant, oak doors. At the side, there was a sign that says Gathering Room.
Gathering Room? What the heck is a Gathering Room?
Iris interrupted my thoughts when she said, "Just follow London or me. We will be the ones introducing you.
Got it?""Yes, I get it," I replied.
London quietly opened the door making it creak slightly.
I was really anxious and wanted to know what was on the other side of the door.
Iris got annoyed and pushed the door open quickly.
"Hey! I know how to open the door!" screeched London.
"Whatever! You were opening it so slowly!" an angry Iris replied back.
They started to argue. It started out as a small argument, but it quickly turned into a full blown fight.
I couldn't take anymore of this so I screamed, "STOP! Just shut up!"
They looked at me with wide, surprised eyes. I just glared at them.
I don't know who they are . They won't tell me where we are going. I'm confused. I'm scared. I'm terrified. I'm done with all of this!
I want answers. I need answers now!
"Shut up and tell me where we are going!" I furiously demanded.
"Sorry, just got carried away," Iris softly replied.
"We are taking you to meet other people and my mom wants to talk to you. So, quit acting like a innocent victim and listen to me," bitterly replied London.
What the heck? What's up with her? She should understand why I want answers! I woke up from a coma and she expects me to just let her push me around? Well, I won't let her. She might know me and I don't know her, but I'm not letting her boss me around!"
"Why are you mad at me? If someone had the right to be mad, it's me! You guys are hiding something from me. I could feel it. How could I possibly trust you when you won't even tell me where we are going?" I replied with malice in my voice.
"You really think you're a victim? If only you knew what happened in the past..." said London with a shake of her head.
Wait...What does she mean by that?!
"What does th-" I began to reply, but was quickly cut off by Iris.
"Please be quiet! They're waiting for us inside," said Iris calmly.
London and I continued to glare at each other, but we knew that arguing outside a door with other people on the other side is stupid.
Iris opened the door fully now.
What shocked me the most were the five teens in the room with the doctors that were in my room when I woke up.
However, I was suspicious when London's mother was glaring at me.
What did I do?
Maybe she heard what London and I were saying. If London thinks I'm not the victim, what does her mother think of me?
However, I stood up straighter and gave her an emotionless look. I'm not letting her get to me. If I want to survive this mess, I have to bottle up my emotions and don't let them see my true feelings.
"I'm glad you finally came out of your room, Victoria." she replied with a smirk.
"Whatever. It was getting stuffy in there anyways," I simply replied.
"I forgot to properly introduce myself. My name is Corinna Pierce and London is obviously my daughter," she replied with slight sarcasm.
"Where are your parents, Tori? They didn't care enough to even be there when you woke up from a coma," London said with a smug look.
I really wanted to slap that smug look off her face.
Although, her words really got to me. I tried to not remember that my parents weren't even here to support me after a coma. They didn't care about me or loved me. I had to accept the truth.
What I hated the most were the tears welling up in my eyes.
No, I won't cry! Not in front of them!
Instead, I forced a smile and bitterly replied, "Oh, I don't know. Maybe because you guys won't tell me where they are. Who they are. What happened to them. Or their names! It's not my fault that you guys think your some famous people that should be praised. I woke up a week ago with no memory and you guys expect me to be okay! This was a mistake, I'm going back to my room. I don't trust any of you guys anyway."
After my angry rant, I turned and ran in the direction we came from.
While running, I couldn't see anything because of the tears running down my face.
Suddenly, I bumped into someone.
"Ow!" I yelped.
"I'm so sorry, it was my fault that I wasn't watching where I was going," replied a smooth, deep voice.
I looked up and immediately started blushing. He was a tall guy with dark blue eyes and messy brown hair. He was smiling at me which showed off his dimples and he was offering his hand towards me.
I took it gratefully and he helped me stand up.
Suddenly, I felt incredibly short since my head only reached his shoulders.
"I wasn't paying attention and just ran blindly. I'm really sorry," I replied quietly.
He opened his mouth to speak, but I quickly moved around him and continued running to my room.
I need time for myself.
