Author's Note: I finally got to update after a long week of school. UGH. Anyways, I apologize for the wait. I hope you like it and this is actually my first story so I hope it's not bad. Also, I forgot to mention that this story will be all in Victoria's point of view. However, it might change. Lastly, here is Chapter 1.
Italics are her thoughts.
Victoria's POV
Everything is still confusing to me. It's been a week since I woke up and I'm still extremely confused.
After I woke up, they explained everything to me. Well, hopefully they explained everything. They said that my name was Victoria Hunter, I'm 17 years old, and my height is 5'5". That's all they said so basically I'm still highly confused. I was going to ask them more questions, but they shunned me, gave me a mirror, and left my room with no words being spoken. I was confused as to why they would give me a mirror, but I still looked at myself.
What I saw shocked me to my very core. I was pale with strawberry blonde hair and green eyes. I looked exactly like the little girl in my memory or my flashback or whatever it is!
I hate this! All of this! It's so unfair! I woke up a week ago with no memory. Then those doctors tell me only my name, age, height, and my appearance. None of that is important! I want to know who I am. Where I came from. Most importantly, I want to know where my parents or siblings are. Why aren't they here. They weren't there when I woke up from a coma. Does that mean they don't love me?
In the midst of my confusion, someone knocked on my door. I quickly tried to push back my thoughts and wiped the tears that escaped my eyes before standing up and going to the door. I slowly opened my door and shyly peaked out. Outside the door were two teenagers.
Wait what?!
I didn't know that there were more teenagers or other people here other than the doctors and myself. There were two girls outside my door and they looked friendly. One girl had bleach blonde hair with blue tips and had hazel eyes.
Hazel. Hazel eyes.
I wonder if she was related to that doctor who talked to me first. Those hazel eyes are just so familiar!
The other was a brunette and had grey-blue eyes.
"Hi, my name is London Pierce. My mom is the doctor that greeted you. The one with blonde, wavy hair and hazel eyes," said the bleach blonde.
I knew it! Their eyes were way too similar for them to not be related.
"I'm Iris Douglas. I'm not related to anyone here. I'm kinda like you, but I was never in a coma," said the brunette.
I visibly flinched when she mentioned my coma. It feels weird for someone to say it right in my face that I was in a coma. It's uncomfortable to know that a person practically remembers you and you don't even remember what year it is. Wait a minute, how does she know I was in a coma?
Oh shut up!
Great!
Now, I'm talking to myself in my head! Way to be sane, Victoria! Ugh. I really need to stop talking to myself in my head.
Suddenly, a hand was waving in front of my face. I quickly look up and notice London and Iris staring at me with wide, curious eyes. I slightly blushed. All this attention was too much. I mean I barely came out of this room for the past week and I only met those doctors. Suddenly, there were two girls staring at me and I don't even know why they are here. What do they want with me?
"No offense, but why are you here? What could you possibly want with me?" I quietly demanded.
They just gave me toothy grins that slightly terrified me.
"Just come with us. I'm pretty sure it's boring being in this room all alone," said Iris offering me a sweet smile.
Should I trust them? We just met and London's mother was that suspicious doctor that I know is connected to my past. I can feel it. She was a big part of my past, but I can't remember her name!
This is so frustrating! I want to stay in this room until I clear my head. I need to sort out my thoughts and feelings.
However, I did the complete opposite.
I smiled and said, "By the way, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Victoria, but I would like you to call me Tori."
London smiled at me and nodded her head in understanding.
"So, are you coming with us or not?" asked Iris once again.
"Sure, I want to know what's beyond these four walls of my room," I replied with confidence.
What am I getting myself into?
