--------------Jade---------------
My mind was slapping me in the face for even kissing him in the first place while my heart slapping me in the face for leaving. All I knew was he had way too much power over me. He defiantly knew how to drive me crazy. Though he reminded me of the scariest time of my life, I've never wanted someone as bad as I want him and that scares me. I run into the house searching for Jake but he was know where to be found. When I felt like I had searched long enough I did what any rational person would do and called him.
"Hey Jade I'm sooo sorry, my younger sister just broke up with her first boy friend and I'm comforting her. She's crying like somebody died, it's really scaring me." Jake explained.
"It's okay I'll find another ride, tell Amy it will all be okay. Gotta go bye." I said and hung up. Great, just about everyone here seemed drunk out of there mind, everyone except one person. Shit, I just told him the best make-out of my life was a mistake and now I'm gonna go back and ask for a ride. Way to play with his head, Jade!
After sitting, thinking about my next move, I decided to go find him. In my endeavor to find him I realized his house was just as confusing as mine was. I first walked around the downstairs floor, where he had a music room quite similar to mine, a game room that was more boyish than mine, a sun room with the same beanie chairs I had in my game room, a huge theater that was bigger than mine, a living room, kitchen, family room, an office which was probably his parents, and a door that lead to the basement. When I opened it all the lights were off so I left it alone. After looking outside I climbed the staircase near the kitchen. There just as many room that were my house, god this was going to be harder than I thought. After I walked in to about 6 people getting it in and his parents bedroom, I was pretty sure I found his room. I stared at the doorway for what seem like an hour. When I finally found the courage to open the door, I saw him shirtless on the bed with a bottle of whiskey in one hand and Wuthering Heights in the other. His chest looked so perfect I think I was going to pass out. He was muscular yet not too muscular, his pajama pants hung low on his waist showing off his v-line leading to his.... When I regrouped myself I said, "Hindley is an ass, Catherine is an idiot, and Heathcliff is obsessed. Though Catherine loved him she choose social class over him so he should just move on."
"What if he thought he could find a way to have her? Though she dies what do you think would have happened if she didn't?" He questioned looking up from his book but showing little to no emotion.
"I think she would have slept with Heathcliff but stayed with her husband because she is as I said before an idiot" I said while closing the door while moving closer towards him.
"So you think she's an idiot because she's in denial and is afraid for how much she loves him? What if she's just trying to protect herself?" Logan said dropping the book and walking over to me with the bottle of whiskey in his hand. Holy crap the closer he got, the faster my heart beat. It was so obvious that he was referring to me but I wasn't going to give in.
"Why do you ask so many questions?" I asked as I looked into his eyes. I think he realized how uneasy I was so he stepped even closer.
"Why don't you answer any of them?" Logan replied. At this point I was pretty sure I was blushing. The alcohol in my system was making it hard reply to anything he was saying so I just looked around the room to change the subject. I saw Scarlet Letter on his floor and saw my opportunity. I walked around him to pick up his book.
"Did you finish this yet?" I asked. He turned around and walked over towards me. He took the book out of my hand and threw it across the room while pinning me against the wall.
"Why are you trying to change the subject?" he demanded.
"I... wasn't, I... was just wondering..." I choked. His chest was pressed against mine and his arm was above shoulder.
"Answer the question, Jade" Logan persisted.
"Which one, I've lost track." I joked but he obviously didn't find it funny. He pressed even harder against my chest and I felt like he was the only thing keeping me standing because my insides felt like they melted. His face was so close to mine, I knew exactly what he was doing. He was trying to tempt me and it was working. I groaned and he notice.
"I think we've both had quite a bit to drink and I think it time for me to go home." I said.
"Answer my question and I'll have someone drive you back." He said.
"I don't have an answer, I just avoid situations where I'm at risk, now let me go!" I yelled in frustration. He didn't let me go, instead he cupped my face with his hand and sighed.
"You think I'm going to put you at risk?" Logan asked, his eyes looked as if I had just stabbed him in the back. He let me go and stepped away from me.
"I'll call Anita, she'll hitch you a ride home. She will be at the front gate in ten minutes." Logan simply said and left the the room. What just happened? I'd only had 3 shots but my mind was all jumbled up. I sighed and left his room. When I got downstairs I looked to what was left of the party, a bunch of people dancing, a few passed out on the couches and floors, and the rest make-out. Though this was Logan's party he was nowhere to be found. I left out of the front door and walked towards the main gate. Like he had said there was a women in the car and I hopped in, I told her where I lived and she sped off. I watched as Logan's house disappeared and before I knew it I was at mine. I thanked her and went inside. I sprayed a bunch of perfume on splashed water on my face before I went to greet my parents. I checked the time and holy cow! It was 1 o'clock. I went up to my room, quickly changed into my pjs shorts, comfy tank top, and my bunny slippers before I set of to find my parents. No surprise I found them in the theater. They watched a movie every Friday. I knocked really obnoxiously loud and then walked in. They were watching 'The Notebook' so I'm guessing it was my mom's turn to chose. Of course my dad was fast asleep while my mom was intently watching.
"Hey honey, the movies just about to end but have a seat." she said still watching the screen.
I hopped on the recliner next to her and watched the last 5 minutes of the movie which had made my mother cry and then laugh at herself for crying.
"That was beautiful" she said with a smile turning towards me, "so any new drama"
"Yeah actually, it's Logan.. I can't take it! He reminds me of the unpleasant things but I might like him." I tell to my mother who just laughed.
"I know sweety, but that's not his fault. But do you think he likes you" she asked.
"I think so..." I said hesitantly.
"Then tell him the truth." she said. Her hazel eyes looked at me with deep concern.
"I just don't want him to have power over me..." I replied.
"You are so much like you father it's scary, that's exactly what he said about me if that helps" she laughed.
"I'll figure it out, I just have to think," I said, "Anyways did you talk to head surgeon yet about me observing a couple of surgeries?"
"As a matter of fact I did and he would be delighted to have you, he said his the OR viewing area is open to you anytime there is an operation. Here..." she said as she was searching through her purse on the floor, " this is the card you use to get in. Don't lose it. His number is on the back if you have any questions"
"You are the greatest mother every!" I said hugging her, "Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
The weekend went but pretty quickly. Saturday morning my parents and I went for a quick jog. After my father and I looked over my accounts and decided out next move, my mother and I went shopping. That night we had take-out Chinese. Sunday we had a business brunch and then I went to hang out with my friends Jake, Sarah, Kayla, and Nick. Though I was busy my mind always had time to think about Logan.
