I don't dream of the glimpses that put me in my slumber.

Instead I'm walking through the chilled forest outside.

Soon I smell something so splendidly fragrant, something so delicious.

I keep walking through the forest for a while before I come to a stop in front five enormous trees that are conjoined to each other.

And on the trees is the source of the scent; thousands of beautiful, pink, round flowers.

I walk towards them to get a closer look at the flowers but before I do another more present smell (but in no way more appetizing) wakes me up.

Chocolate ice cream?

"I told you I know how to wake her up, simply place food under the fatty’s nose like I just did next time," I hear Jason say and I chuckle.

I hear several sighs of relief and open my eyes.

Isolde and Matt are hovering over me.

They both look genuinely worried.

"Thank God," Isolde breathes.

"Yeah, sorry about that," I say to Isolde.

“No, don’t apologize,” she says shaking her head.

Then I look at Matt and wonder why I had those glimpses of him and me.

I finally get a good, close look at him.

And he really is handsome.

He has a gorgeous thin face that is looking back intently at me.

I start to feel awkward because I don't like people staring at me like I'm staring at Matt.

I avert my eyes to see Jason who isn't hovering at all and is instead eating my ice cream like he’s trying to hide it from me.

"That's mine, IDIOT!" I say out loud to him.

He turns around to face me.

A scowl forms slowly on his face.

"IT WAS MELTING!" he yells dramatically angry.

I smile briefly before also forming a scowl on my face.

I love this game.

We act furious as we have normal conversations.

My personal favorite time playing this game was when we were in Chicago’s Little Village(a Mexican-American community) talking about our favorite taco place.

And the “conversation” was entirely in Spanish.

"DID YOU EAT IT ALL?!" I shout as I get off of the bed they placed me on.

"NO! I DIDN’T! DO YOU WANT THE REST OF IT?!"

"ONLY IF YOU DON’T WANT IT!" I yell as I charge towards him.

"I JUST WANTED TO TASTE IT! HERE!" and Jason shoves the ice cream towards me.

"ARE YOU SURE YOU DON’T WANT IT ANYMORE?!"

"I'M SURE!"

"OKAY THEN, THANKS!" I pull the ice cream roughly from his hands.

I scoop a spoonful of ice cream and shove it hard in my mouth.

"THIS CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM IS CRAZY DELICIOUS!" I stand on my tippy toes so I'm screaming it in his face.

"ISN’T IT?!" he finishes as he narrows his eyes at me.

Slowly we both turn to look at Isolde and Matt.

As soon as we see their confused faces we look at each other and start to crack up.

Then Isolde and Matt are laughing too.

The laughing dies down and Isolde and Matt are at the door reassuring people that everything is fine in here.

I quickly pull an arm around Jason's neck.

"I am so, so sorry, Jace, for everything," I whisper so only he can hear.

"It’s fine,” he grumbles softly.

“No, it really isn’t,” I breath.

“You just, you just have to tell me next time you leave like that," he murmurs.

"It's not going to be necessary because I promise it'll never, ever happen again," I whisper again so that only he can hear me, but loudly enough so that he can hear the certainty in my voice.

He exhales deeply and wraps his arms around me.

I still have my eyes open and over Jason's shoulder I see Matt's gray eyes looking at me with the same kindness that Isolde's eyes hold but they have a bit of something else in them, jealousy?
