It's getting better...I've remembered most things, and I've recovered enough to be able to return to nursing. Next week I'm going back to Poplar. It'll be great to be able to pick up where I left off, and they've all been so welcoming in their letters-the nurses at the London, I mean. But something's still not there. Every now and then, when I close my eyes, I can see someone with ginger hair - did I know someone ginger? It's a woman I see, I'm sure of that. Sometimes her hair is down, sometimes it's up, normally in a beehive. She has a red hat and a bicycle, too. She's quite tall, and normally seems to wear a blue dress. A red cardigan accompanies that, alongside a burgundy scarf. I could tell you anything about her appearance really, except for what her face looks like. You see, in my dreams I can only ever see her from the back! I  have no idea who she is, and to be honest I doubt I'll ever find out. She's probably just a product of my imagination; the doctors said there's a good chance I'll imagine things, even when I'm better. They told me to just be glad I'm alive. And I am. But I feel like I'm still missing something. I don't know whether I've forgotten something important, or anything like that. For all I know, it could be to do with the ginger girl. I just don't feel complete. At all...
