Arsyn tapped her foot impatiently on the wooden floor as she sat between Alice and Renesmee. They all waited for Carlisle and Edward to come back, hoping they made amens with the shapeshifters. "Maybe they're only taking long because they went to hunt?" Renesmee tried reassuring Arsyn, who only gave her a small smile. The door flung open and Arsyn stood up just as Carlisle and Edward walked into the house.

"I'm so sorry! He came to me and-and I just-"

"It's fine, Arsyn." Edward put a hand on her shoulder before walking towards Bella and Renesmee. "What happened?" Esmee spoke up. "They excused this incident as being a mistake. Arsyn didn't know about the treaty, nor did she know any of us... but Billy still wants to meet with you, in private." Arsyn nodded at Carlisle's words as he continued to speak.

"Why in private?" Emmett walked next to Arsyn and crossed his arms across his broad chest. "He wouldn't say," Edward intervened. "But we're going to be there, watching from a distance."

"In the meantime, Arsyn will be staying in with us, Billy wants me to examine her origins more thoroughly, if that's okay with you."

"Yes of course, thank you so much." Arsyn looked around at everybody to quietly thank them indivisually. "But what about the man who turned me?"

"I didn't meantion him to Billy. Right now, he's not a threat," Carlisle shook his head. "Don't worry Arsyn, you're safe with us now," Edward gave her a smile, along with everyone else.

"Let's get you settled in then; Rosalie."

Esmee smiled towards the blonde who walked towards a door, signaling Arsyn to follow her. She waved goodnight to everybody before walking down a seemingly endless staircase with Rosalie. They quietly turned a corner before walking to the end of a hallway. "It's all yours, let me know if you need anything."

"Thank you, Rosalie."

"Also," Rosalie unexpectedly hugged Arsyn who hesitantly embraced her. "Welcome home, kind of." The two girls laughed slightly before Rosalie bid her goodnight and left the way they came.

Arsyn sighed and placed her hand on the metal knob before opening the wooden door. She walked into the room slowly, admiring the grey walls and simple bed frame that held a queen sized mattress, which was funny because they couldn't sleep. A black drawer and sliding closet adorned the other side of the room. A couch lay just in the middle, so she walked towards it before sitting. Just as she laid against the green sofa, Edward appeared at her door frame.

"Jacob is here for you."

"Your name is Jacob?"

Bella and Renesmee moved out of Arsyn's way as she made her way towards Jacob. "That's me."

Jacob balled his fist as she stopped just in front of him, her next words shocking him. "I'm sorry about earlier, and about putting your imprint in danger. Edward told me," Arsyn shrugged.

"My dad- Billy wanted me to apologize to you. But don't worry about it, I can handle a cold one," Jacob smirked.

"Yeah right, I can take you on anyday. Dog," Renesmee laughed as Arsyn crossed her arms in a joking manner. Everyone else grinned as Jacob stuck his hand out. "We good?"

"We're good," they shook hands, before Jacob informed them Billy was awaiting her arrival. "Billy said not to come, she'll be safe. Besides, Seth is there."

Jacob smirked lightly as Renesmee smacked his arm playfully. Edward laughed lightly, reading his mind and Bella questioned what they meant. Arsyn rose an eyebrow, but said nothing as Jacob started to walk out the door. She followed him and Jacob shifted quickly before turning towards Arsyn and nodding his head. Arsyn looked back at the others, who nodded at her before she ran off behind Jacob.
