Alone in the Rain

So.. I know this book isn't really humor related . Lol they are random scenes I can vision. Hope this creates a vivid image.

Light pinching drops of rain blew belligerently as I scurried past people in a vain attempt to go home. When I glanced back, I saw a paralyzing white strike hit an abandoned home which was damp from the light drizzle. 

The crowd grew rough and I felt myself getting thrown the wrong way. Panicked and stoic faces blinded me as I forced myself to move against the traffic of people. Loud sirens sang loudly and hollow yells followed.

 Suddenly, I spotted my home in the crowd, so I rushed towards it and quickly jumbled with the keys to open the door. Just as I entered, I noticed a black furry cat cross my way. 

No one was home and it was already gloomy at just the afternoon. The whole room started to slowly diminish in degrees. I shivered and stared out the window, looking at the bullets of rain shooting at the ground. 

After half an hour, a smile of a rainbow appeared and then finally my parents.
