You know, life sucks, it just does, but you have to deal with it. Of course, there are up's and down's like everybody says, but really life is hard. Jobs are hard, school is hard, social status is hard to maintain, but really all you should worry about is that you are proud of yourself and that you love other people. At least you are not that guy on the street corner sleeping in a sleeping bag, smoking something he spent his last few dollars on for just a bit of pleasure. By the way, if you are this guy, I am sorry.
You know that everyone makes mistakes right? Don't pretend you are perfect because you're not. Even if you have good grades, or you are really rich, or you won that little league baseball trophy, it doesn't matter because life is hard. Keep in mind I am not giving you the excuse to give up and say "I can never do anything right" or "I will never be perfect" you should always try your best. Sometimes my parents tell me when I am complaining about something bad that happened to me "There are children starving in Africa, they are way worse off than you are" and I head off to my room thinking I know that and I am sorry for them, but that doesn't really make me feel better. That actually makes me feel like you don't care about me!
