Chapter 2

Sophie's POV
Oh my god he's beautiful! I haven't stopped stating at him the whole tour. I wonder if he's noticed. I'm seriously jealous of his long eyelashes and nose piercing because of how well they suit his sculpted features. I'm curious of all the tattoos on his tan skin and there meanings.

"This is the last building and also it happens to be my favorite, it's the art building" Zayn explains as we make our way to the front.

"Oh why is that?"

" Art is my major" Zayn says with a proud smile on his face.

" oh my gosh that's amazing! "

" Yeah, I'll be sure to show you my work" he winks .

" Today? " I ask as I reach for the door handle and try to open it isn't budging.

" No, not today the doors are locked " Zayn says while chuckling and shaking his head.

" Oh...Okay " I can feel the heat rushing to my checks because of my embarrassment.

" Whats your first class? I'll walk you"

"I have math class with Mr.Gallegos "

"Okay, it's not far from here, let's go."

As we walk to my class zayn fills me in on how much of an ass Mr.Gallegos is but that it's an easy class to pass. When we make it to my classroom zayn surprises me by pulling me in for a hug. When I step forward to wrap my arms around him, I step on his shoe and lost my balance a little bit.

" Woah there " zayn says with a chuckle

" Oh my gosh I'm so sorry! " I feel my checks warming up.

" It's okay don't worry about it, have a good day, hope to see more of you beautiful." Zayn says while smirking.

I blush more if that's even possible. "Thank you for the tour." I say Before I step into my first class.

The first 30 minutes of class were spent going through our syllabus and expectations for the semester. As I'm filling out some papers with my information on the classroom door burst open.

" Sorry, sorry I'm late." Some blond guy says while struggling to finish putting on his shirt causing the whole class to erupt in laughter. He rushes to the only seat available which happens to be next to me.

" Niall....I better not see you fail or be late to my class again! Let this be your first and only warning for the rest of the semester." Mr.Gallegos says frowning.

Niall just rolls his eyes at the professor and starts digging threw his bag pack.

"Hey cutie, what did I miss?" It took me awhile to realize he was talking to me.

" Oh um nothing much we just went over the syllabus."

"Okay thanks, my name is Niall by the way in case you didn't catch it."

" Nice to meet you my name is Sophia but you can call me Sophie."

By the end of class me and Niall hit it off really well and he even invited me to my first college party on Friday. I also learned that he is quit the party animal. I figured that's why he was late.

The day went by faster then I though and I'm excited to get home. Louis is taking forever to pick me up and I'm hoping he didn't forget that he had to come get me. As I'm about to call him for the 3rd time I see him pull into the school campus.

" Lou what took you so long I've been waiting for years." Louis rolls his eyes and chuckles at me.

" I have a surprise for you!"

" Okay, keep your eyes closed and don't peak!" Louis says and I can hear him struggling with the keys to get the front door open.

" I'm not " I chuckle

When he finally got the door opened and allowed me to walk in I was greeted with the delicious smell of Mexican food.

" SURPRISE " Louis yells as I uncover my eyes

" Oh my gosh Lou you made my favorite dish! I didn't even know you could cook." I rush to the dinner table and look at all the food that was made not even hesitating to start serve myself some enchiladas and red rice.

" Dang sweetie, couldn't even wait for me could you." Louis jokes " That's why I was late by the way I wanted to surprise you with a home cooked meal for your first day of school."

" Thank you so much Lou, it means a lot" I say taking a seat.

"How was your first day?" Louis asks as he serves himself.

"It surprisingly went really well! I got invited to my first college party. I don't know if I want to go though."

"That's good to hear! Who invited you? You should go!"

"This guy in my math class, Niall." I see Louis tense up a bit for an unknown reason but quickly catches himself.

"Oh maybe we should do something instead." I shrug at his comment

Me and Louis eat in a comfortable silence until Louis starts to panic.

" Sophie please tell me you took your medication this morning before you left."

My eyes widen in realization " umm "
I hesitate on telling him the truth or not.

" Sophia Goodwin you better tell me the truth! You know you have to take then twice a day! how could you forget?"

" I'm sorry! I was stressing over my first day and I guess it just left my mind. I'll take then right now." I shamelessly make my way to the medicine cabinet.  I hate taking these!

" I feel like I'm getting better I don't understand why I need to keep taking this medication" I sigh and as I go back to the table.

"I know Sophie I'm sorry. I just worry about you. After the incident and I don't ever want to see you like that again"

" I know Lou, it's okay I understand."

After that we finish eating we clean
up our mess. I give Louis a big hug goodbye and he kisses my forehead wishing me a goodnight.

" I will be here in the morning as usual. don't forget to take your meds, love you."

" Love you too Lou goodnight.
