I lock eyes with it, and freeze in my position, looking into the eyes of a demon, and knowing I might not survive this encounter, but it's a chance I'll have to take. Leroy shakes in his boots as I look to my left.
Leroy: We're way in over our heads.
Me: That doesn't matter now! We have to fight him!
We all charge him at once. He moves and takes out about three of us with one swing of an arm. As they get up, Ish and I draw our swords, and as we swing we miss. I pull the grenade from my belt, pull the pin, and throw it hoping the explosion will divert his attention, at least long enough to get a single hit in. We fall back and draw our guns. Through a wall of bullets, it got hit about ten times. Once in the face, twice in the chest, three times in the leg, and for times in the stomach.
Kane: Ugh! It's not slowing down!
Ish: Aaargh!
I turned around and saw Ish laying on the ground, and the werewolf rushing up the hill. I follow and have him cornered next to a rock. He charged me and got my gun out of my hands. My friends make it up the hill and Morgan shot him in the back with the rocket launcher (mini grenade launcher). When the smoke cleared, I saw the werewolf running at my friends and I follow, my sword in hand. He sent the others flying across the field.
Kane: I-It's o-over. We can't beat him!
While they were laying on the ground, I almost lost them. They were bleeding out. I couldn't stop him. They lay rapidly bleeding and I look at the werewolf, with burning hatred in my eyes. They start to change color to a red color, almost fire pattern. I draw my sword.
Me: This is for all the lives you've taken over the years! Everyone you've killed! This ends tonight!!!
Werewolf: Raaaaaaaaaaah!
We speed towards each other, and I take my first swipe, cutting its chest open. It smacks me in the face, as I try to dodge. I slide on the ground and raise my sword to the creature, screaming in anger. As it swings again, I cut its arm off, with its blood spilling everywhere. I kick it to the ground, and carve a cross into its chest, then thrust my sword into the center, to expell the demon so I can kill it outside the man it is in now. It toot physical form, missing an arm like I had cut off the limb of the actual demon, the man was fine. I let out a loud yell, as I charge it one last time. I pushed my sword through its stomach, then I took its other arm off, and finally, shoved the tip of the blade through the forehead and through the back of its neck. It falls and I rush to help my friends.
Morgan: J-Jack? H-h-how did you do that?
Me: I had my sword blessed by my pastor and I could tell it would work. So let's all go home.
Ish: What about my aunt?
Me: I'm sorry, Ish, she didn't make it...
We all left and we went home. We knew we saved hundreds of lives, wether anyone else did or not, we stopped the werewolf, and saved the city, and that feels great.
