I laughed in his face. Was he kidding? A vampire? That was the best this sarcastic, dark, and handsome man could come up with? He had to be kidding.

"What the heck, man," I said between laughs, "that is the only thing you could come up with. Come on, now. I know you can do better than that."

He walked towards me slowly. My laughing ceased, there were purpose in those footsteps. The air around him hung thick with authority. I gulped, suddenly more nervous than a virgin on her wedding night.

He flashed a grin, and at first I didn't catch them, the fangs. I gasped, my hand flying to my mouth. Before he could speak, I started making a bee line for the rehab center. I was determined to live, to survive. I was sure my blood wouldn't even taste great. I mean, it is one of the most common blood types, not a delicacy to vampires. Well, I hoped not at least.

Suddenly I felt rough hands grip my forearm, and I tried to yank away, but my attempts at freeing myself were unsuccessful. His hand tightened, hurting me. I groaned in pain, stopping in my tracks, fighting all instinct inside of me. "Let go, and leave me alone. Go find someone else to munch on Count Douchebag."

His grip loosened, but not enough for me to escape. He stared at me with a blank expression, then burst out laughing. As much as I hate to admit it, but his laugh was highly attractive. He threw his head back and let out a very deep laugh.

"The one time you defend yourself and fight back in your whole life is to someone who can snap your pretty little head right off your body with the flick of a wrist. You are so unpredictable. At first I thought you were just going to scream and run, but then you do something unthinkable. I think I might keep you alive, little Felicity."

I shook with fear and anger. Who could someone be so idiotic to stand up to a vampire? Oh, yes, I am that one person out of a billion. A weak human telling a vampire to buzz off. I was scared for my life, yet angered by how he kept calling me little.

"So you're just going to bite my arms and legs and suck blood from my veins? Is that such a great alternative to you biting my neck and draining me, putting me out of my misery? I don't want you to be anywhere near my blood," I stomped my foot, irritated by how he was basically saying he'd keep me to feed from. I read, I know how this could go down.

"What if I just helped us both out at the same time? I can taste your blood, and you can leave this and everyone behind and start over?" Dean offered me.

Start over? Like a new life? Only if he can taste my blood? Yes, please.

"How would this play off?"

"Simple, I turn you into a vampire like me."

Well, it is a little short. But, then again, two chapters in one day. I decided to post now. Have fun reading. Thanks in advance for showing support! (Hint hint wink wink)
