Art class mostly consisted of girls, but there was a guy who I did not recognize from the back. He was talking and laughing with Catherine. I walked on the other side of the table where Catherine was and as I approached the figure turned to me revealing his face.
"Cody?"
"Oh hey Grace. How was your summer?" He said with an award-winning smile.
He has gotten slightly taller, even more fit, and wasn't wearing his old wore glasses any more. They were a pair of Ray-Bans instead.
"I've been good how about you. Seems like junior year has already taken its' toll on you." I said in a joking matter.
He laughed in return adjusting his glasses in the process. His hair was longer and pushed back. The blue plaid and dark jeans complemented his skintone.
"Thanks you look great yourself."
"Why thank you." I'm glad I dressed nice today wearing my favorite sandals with white shorts and a teal top. My hair was down for the first time in a long time.
"Alright class sit down." Our teacher told us.
We all sat and I sat across from Cody. I couldn't stop looking at him. His smile was captivating and I could see his eyes light up. I don't know what's happening. I mean yeah I do I'm getting a crush on Cody but him and Kelsey JUST broke up. I can't make a move already. But I can't help this feeling, ugh, I want to spend as much time as I can with him.
