"Taylor...Hello~, Earth to Taylor." I heard a sweet voice say, I fluttered my heavily eyelids open to see my friend Cat hovering over me. "Hi Taylor, are you okay?" I groaned before sitting up from what feels like my couch or my bed since it was kind of squishy yet sturdy. I looked around to see that I was actually in my living room, the bright sunlight that poured out of my window indicated that it was most likely around the afternoon.

"Cat, I had the strangest dream today. It felt so real that it spooked me." I lightly rubbed my tired eyes then stretched my arms. "I dreamt that this dog I rescued last night somehow turned into a...human with dog ears and tail then he was talking to me like he'd knew me forever..."

"That does sound like a messed up dream, Taylor." I froze when I heard a voice from behind me, a disturbingly familiar voice. It sounded just like the puppy's voice...But it sounded more high pitched then I remembered, like a girl's voice...Did Cat bring someone over?

"Yeah, it does. Oh, Berry could you go and get my purse from the kitchen." Did she say...Berry? When I turned around I couldn't see anyone but I did here some footsteps. "Hey Taylor, how come you've never told me about your girlfriend Berry? She seems like a pretty cool chick. Were you using Mika as a diversion so that you wouldn't share Berry?" G-Girlfriend? I never had a girlfriend! Before I could have told her the truth an arm wrapped around my lower face just barely below my nostrils while another handed Cat her purse. Soon after she grabbed her purse the arm wrapped itself around my neck.

"He's very shy whenever he talks about me not to mention over-protective." A peppy voice sung out almost too sweetly. I felt a body press against mine as the arm tighten itself around my neck, almost into a choke-hold but it was loose enough to let me breath peacefully...that was of course if I wasn't scared out of my mind right now, I wanted to turn my head to face the so called 'girl' Berry but they wouldn't allow me to look at them.

"Thanks sweetie." Cat chirped out as she threw the strap of her purse around her shoulder.

"Your welcome. By the way didn't you say you had to work in the afternoon, Cat?" She looked at her wristwatch then nodded her head.

"Yeah, I do. Thanks for reminding me Berry." She got up from the chair she was sitting on then stretched her arms in the air." So I'll see you later Taylor and I'll see you tomorrow, Berry." Cat said as she walked out of the living room and towards the front door.

"Okay, Bye Cat." I couldn't say anything because of the arm that was covering my mouth but I could make little muffled sounds, I wanted to move out of the person's clutches but I wasn't strong enough to so such a thing. As soon as we heard the door close the person let go of me and pulled me down until I was lying down with my face towards the ceiling.

"A dream?! Did I not pinch you to make sure it wasn't a stinking dream, master?!" It was long before Crimson eyes locked onto my mine, for some reason his voice returned back into a normal pitched male voice.

"Oh god you really turned into a human."

"I'm one-fourth human, Master. Please get your facts right."

"Well then what's the other three-fourths, Berry!?"

"Half wolf, one-fourth fox."

"Whatever! What did you tell Cat behind my back? I don't even have a boyfriend let alone a girlfriend! Why did she even think you were a girl? You clearly have some sort of balls in my point of view!"

"Well that's good to know, Anyways I may have told her in a state of panic that we were dating when she threaten to call the police if I didn't tell her why I was inside your house and who I was. Also about the girl thing...I may have borrowed some clothes that was inside your closest and she may have mistaken me as a girl or something."

"What!?"

"Hey, not my fault she gave me the idea to act like a chick."

"Why did you-How could you-GAH!" I threw my arms in the air and propped myself up until I was sitting down again, I turned around to face Berry but what I wasn't expecting was to see that Berry was telling the truth. He was wearing one of my old black t-shirt that was a bit too big for him, then he wore a red-checker plaid with some short jeans that looked like it actually fit him...He looks like a girl, a really cute too. If I didn't know he was a guy in the first place I would have thought the same thing, but what seemed strange to me was that his tail and ears was perfectly opened for the naked eye. "Did she questioned about your...dog...parts?" He crossed his arms and frowned at me.

"Do you think I'm stupid or something?! Of course not, It's a rule we Beowulf tribes have!" Tribe?

"What do you mean by tribe?" I asked, inching closer to him but he shriveled away from me and placed his hand on his legs. His pointy dog ears slightly dropping and his tail curled around his waist.

"It doesn't concern you in any way so drop this subject and move on to another one." I raised my hands mid-way in the air and sighed, he seems touchy about his life.

"Alright, if she didn't questioned about your abnormal parts then how did you hid them?"

"I hid my tail under the shirt and covered my ears with one of your idiotic caps."

"Hey, don't insults my caps." He raised a brow then picked up a red cap that was set on top of the coffee table next to us.

"U.F.O backwards spells dot. Dot. Dot." He read off the cap then he faced me, his finger pointing at the big letters in red. "O.F.U, Master." He said, tossing the cap back on the table. "Now, I didn't learn much of what human call 'English' put I'm pretty sure I didn't say something pleasant to you now did I, master?"

"Want do you want anyways? If you can turn human-"

"Half-human." He interrupted.

"Whatever! If you can grow into a human's body then why aren't you going back home or something?"

"Because you saved me, you were the one who took me inside your house even though I had injured you." He said pointing at the hand with a bandage on. "I owe a debt to you now, Master."

"Stop calling me that, I'm not Master I'm Taylor."

"Which ever way your still my master, Taylor. Correct me if I'm wrong but when I was still in my pup form you were going to take me in as your dog, were you not?" I crossed my arms and turned away from him.

"That was when you were a cute yet aggressive puppy who had gotten hurt."

"But I'm still hurt and I'm still that same puppy, I'm just half human now." Those words were true, the white medical tape around his left arm and his dog parts proves it. I'm surprised Cat didn't question me about it, I bet she asked him though.

"It'll feel and look awkward trying to pet a hybrids belly."

"You could always pet my head."

"I'll have to teach you how to use the toilet."

"I'm already house trained, I know how to properly use what humans call toilets even though I would prefer doing my business in bushes."

"I won't be able to provide you anything."

"A roof under my head a food is good enough for me."

"Anything else your going to add to the list of usefulness?" I asked a bit annoyed at the comeback this dog had.

"I can cook, clean, and be your companion. After all, I believe you will want a friend after being rejected."

"H-how did you-...It was Cat wasn't it?" I turned to him and he nodded.

"That chick told me everything she can about you for the fifteen minutes you were knocked out." I growled then lightly tapped my fingers on my arm, debating on to keep him or not. After a long and thoughtful period of time I sighed and stood up from the couch.

"Fine you could stay, but you have to promise not to tell anyone that lie about us going out." He sprung off the couch and pounced on my legs.

"Oh thank you!"...How can he switch moods easily I have no freaking clue but I do know one think now...I think I might be late for work...
