VI- Fragile heart

"Oh my gee. The place looks fantastic Goms! I couldn't believe that from being an ordinary place, it turned into an extra special one. Did you set this is up?"(She smiled at him)(^_^)ノ

"It's your dad's, Love.. Here's mine...(While bringing out the bouquet of red roses that he's hidding from his back.)
I hope you like it."(He left a kiss at her cheek)^̮^

"You're still sweet babe. Hindi ka nagbago. That's what I miss about you. (She cupped his face)
I don't just like the flowers, I love it....
I love you." (She hugged him tight)

From a simple mini hall into a romantic place wherein there are red and white heart shaped balloons and colorful confeties. It was a candle light dinner that Johnny, Dawn's dad had prepared. He made a surprise date for Dawn and Richard because he wanted to make them happy specially her daughter Dawn. He wanted her to spend her remaining moments with him while she's still here in the Philippines.

They enjoyed the food while talking and enjoying each others' company. You van really see how they missed each other.

"Burp... Excuse me babe. Talagang nabusog ako eh. Hehe.  Thank you dad for this wonderful date and thank you for being my most gwapo date ever! hehe."(She laughed)

"Ikaw naman ang pinakamagandang fairy sa buhay ko. Hmmp. No! Mas maganda ka pa sa fairy. Thank you Love sa daddy mo. I'm really having a great time here with you. Sayang nga lang at ang 3 day outreach program ay naging two na lang at hindi pa tayo matutuloy bukas sa Medical Mission. I still want to be with you Love."(He traced her face with his finger, then he traced her lips.)
It's really an overwhelming feeling that I am now here in front of you Love. (He gave a her gentle kiss) (*^ω^*)

"I love you Ba.... "

Suddenly Dawn experienced chest pain. She can't breathe. She held a tight grip at her chest.

Grace, immediately brought out her meds from her bag.

"Ms Dawn. Heto na po yung inhaler niyo at ang gamot. Please ipainum niyo po agad sa kanya" (Richard took the inhaler and her meds)

"Maa'm kailangan niyo pong huminga nang malalim." (Trying to calm Dawn)

She nodded. While Richard on the other hand, scratching his head. He couldn't believe everything that happened. He didn't know that all this time, she is sick.

"Grace? Alam mo na ang tungkol dito?" ( Shocked)-R

"Op..... Opo sir. Sinabihan po ako ni Sir Johnny na alagaan siya at huwag ko raw po ipaalam sa inyo ang kanyang kalagayan." (Grace bit her nails)

"Dawn?Bakit? Ba't di mo sinabi?"(Eyes glued on her  and tears was about to fall)-R

While recovering from her chest pain, still holding a tight grip at her chest and trying to breath calmly.

"I...... I'm sorry Goms. But you need to leave me now. Hayaan mo muna ako makapag pahinga. Please, I beg." (Without trying to look at him and tears fell as she closed her eyes)

"Pero, andami mo pang dapat ipaliwanang sa akin Dawn." (He cupped her face and trying to get her attention)

"Please Goms, kailangan ko munang mapag isa." (Dawn took his hands off her face and went inside her room, leaving him with lots of whats and hows)

From a romantic date to a not so good night. Richard slept on the other room because he wanted to give her privacy and he also wanted her to rest...
He thought that squeezing her for an explaination will just worsen her condition.

They're both bothered...

Richard's POV:
Dawn? Bakit hindi mo sinabi? Ayaw mo lang bang kaawaan kita? Gaano na ba kalala? Wala ba akong karapatang malaman? Gustong gusto kitang alagaan Love.... I wan't an explaination.

Dawn's POV:
This is the time that I need to leave you babe. It's the best thing to do. I don't want to ruin your happiness. Seeing me strugle everyday will make me weak. Hindi ko yun gugustuhin knowing that you are hurt. Kakayanin kong maging mag isa ulit, na wala ka. Nakakainis lang kasi nasanay na ako na nandiyan ka sa tabi ko. Sana hindi niya na lang nalaman nang maaga. I need to go back to Manila today at kailangan kong bumalik sa States para magpa gamot. Ayoko pang mamatay. Not like this..

6:30 am Wednesday morning

"Ms. Ganda, breakfast is ready."(Grace knocked at her door)

"Okay Grace. Susunod ako."-D

She didn't fell asleep at all. She's wide awake the whole night. She tried closing her eyes, but sleep didn't visit her. Her mind is confused of what's the right thing to do. She knows she owe him an explaination. She knows he's hurt and she didn't mean it.

"Malay ko naman na aatake ka ulit. Kakainis!! "(While talking to herself)

"I'm so sorry Goms but I need to do this."-D

She went out of her room. She saw him. Their eyes met....

He stopped eating as she saw her.
She looked away and she sat down not beside him but two chairs away from him, till she realized that they're now facing each other.

"Manong Jerry? Grace? kain tayo" (As she fake a smile. What an awkward moment  ¯(°_o)/¯)

"Sige lang po maa'm. Mamaya pa po kami kakain pagkatapos niyo."(Grace)

"Sige Grace, sabay na lang tayo. Mamaya na din ako." (She immediately stood up and tucked her chair.)

"Dawn? Mag.usap tayo. Please? Parang awa mo na."(Richard grabbed her hands. She faced him while teary eyed)

"Goms, ayoko na. Itigil na natin 'to please. I'm sorry." (Tears striked down her cheeks while she let go of his hands)

"Pero Dawn.... Ngayon pa ba ako susuko sayo? I've lost you before. Hindi ko na gustong maulit yun."-(He ran towards her and hugged her at her back)

"Please Love. Ayoko nang mamatay ulit." -R

"Anong ibig mong sabihin?" (As she faced him)

"Nung nawala ka sakin noon, nawalan ako nang ganang mabuhay. At ngayong nandito ka na ulit,  nabuhay muli ang namatay na Richard. "- (She can hear the hoarseness of his voice. She knew he was already crying)

She faced him, wipping his tears with her right hand.

"Hindi mo naiintindihan Goms. I need to go back as soon as possible sa States. Masasanay ka rin na wala ako. I'm sorry. (She took his hands away and went inside her room crying)

"I'm sorry goms. I need to let you go." (She whispered and wiped her tears as she fixed her things)
